Under the Singapore Hotel Act Chapter 127.
It states that the premise will not be conducted as a disorderly house.
Power of Entry and Inspection by the Ministry.

But on the other hand.... it seems that Sex work is NOT illegal in singapore. However most of these FL are foreigners so they are bound by Immigration Act Article 8(3)(e)(f)....

So i think i you get caught in a hotel, there may be some avenue to escape by lawful means. Safest bet is to go with a Local Singapore because they are not breaking any ICA law. But if that Local is a Transgender, then you could get implicated because there is the Public obscenity (Penal Code Section 294) and also the Gross indecency or Homosexual sex law under (Penal Code Section 377A).

You are right, they target this foreign FL not becos of prostitution well also partly to control the spread of disease but basically these FLs from overseas are normally charge with violation of their social visit pass. That is they are actually not suppose to be working for a living while on social visit. The most they kena is get deported back. Thou I heard some are given a temporary pass to stay behind to assist in further investigation as some are brought in by syndicates.

That why with a local FL, there is actually no violation as prostitution in the eyes of the law is not illegal.
