Just to side track abit. Any samster able to share information on remuneration package for singaporean working in china (2 years project)?

I hold a degree in bz admin and diploma in engineering. Have 20 yrs of working experience but only 4 years as project manager. Currently drawing
S$6.5K (all allowance inclusive). If company were to station me in china (say Shanghai) as a project manager managing S$4 to 5 million project for 2 years , what would be a reasonable remuneration package.
Appreciate your advice.

I believed a package of the below for an expat from Singapore.. but depending on how big is your company too.

Monthly salary : USD$10000 to USD$15000 (excl tax)
Housing allowance : RMB$10000 - RMB$15000 (for whole family to move here)
Perhaps, car with driver, depending on your position..

Most of the companies here will part pay here.. ie pay you minimum RMB in order to report low tax, then rest will pay to your overseas account.

Sorry to be straight forward, u sure a company will pay USD 200k+ per year x2 (salary and allowance) for someone to manage a project that is worth $4-5mio? Doesn't sound like a good deal for the company based on the given information so far.
To get 6.5k in Singapore probably sit one in mid level manager position depending on organization. Unless the TS has special skill that die die cannot get in china, if not the pay increase u mentioned is uncalled for.
