Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
I hope Kenny will be given a lifeline.. Chelsea sucked big time after Jose Mourinho left and Roman only gave the managers one season each to prove themselves.. Like the saying goes, you can't build Rome in a day..

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
I hope the King will be move upstairs and remain there. Along side him should be that Stewart chap & Jamie C.
Jamie should be given the role of Minister Mentor in the footballing terms. Had done a great service for LFC & should be remembered for that. In today's world, he cant cut it anymore. We cannot be languishing at the bottom of the barrel and try to credit it with 2 cup finals. It just doesnt matter anymore. We are the laughing stock of the world let alone the BPL. I shudder to think if status remain quo..we 're gone. With Rafa, at least we know where we are targetting. His tactics at winning the away games or playing for a draw where UCL is concern..is second to none. The man is a great tactician and with him at the helm, remember! he brought in Wining mentality players in the past. Alsonso, man! he's terribly missed. I am praying that the announcement if its to be made.. should read the King has accepted a position up there in L.F.C Boardroom. He's consented to it and shall be moving soon with amicable comments later. We need winners in today's world and a justify-able management team. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
England's new manager and former Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson has announced his squad ahead of the Euro 2012.
The Squad Goalkeepers Robert Green (West Ham United), Joe Hart (Manchester City), John Ruddy (Norwich City). Defenders Leighton Baines (Everton), Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Ashley Cole (Chelsea), Glen Johnson (Liverpool), Phil Jones (Manchester United), Joleon Lescott (Manchester City), John Terry (Chelsea). Midfielders Gareth Barry (Manchester City), Stewart Downing (Liverpool), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool), Frank Lampard (Chelsea), James Milner (Manchester City), Scott Parker (Tottenham Hotspur), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal), Theo Walcott (Arsenal), Ashley Young (Manchester United). Forwards Andy Carroll (Liverpool), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United), Daniel Welbeck (Manchester United), Jermain Defoe (Tottenham Hotspur). Standby list Jack Butland (Birmingham City), Phil Jagielka (Everton), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Adam Johnson (Manchester City), Daniel Sturridge (Chelsea). http://thefa.com/England/News/2012/e...ed-160512.aspx 4 players each from Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United. The remaining players are from Everton (1), West Ham (1), Norwich (1), Tottenham (2) and Arsenal (2). Johnson, Gerrard, Downing and Carroll will represent Liverpool while Henderson is on the standby list. Also, Gerrard have been chosen by Hodgson as England's captain. Initially, I was surprised that Downing was selected because he was very poor for us throughout the season. No goals nor assists in the league, only a couple of goals and assists in cup competitions. However, I recalled that he has been playing well for England this season and thus it justifies Hodgson's decision to select him ahead of other players such as Aaron Lennon and Adam Johnson. Quote:
Whoever our manager is next season (even if it's king kenny), I hope the manager will have a fair selection policy. Play whoever deserves to play instead of having 'favourites' like this year. I think Downing should have made way for Maxi more often. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Sad to say he had to leave in such a manner but what I more concern is who will be replacing him
In fact it's good to see the board decide things swiftly so we can start to rebuild the team early |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
There is only one King in Anfield........ King Kenny!!
Even to the end you'd rather keep your dignity and walk away than to accept that seat upstairs which Fenway had prepared for you. You'll Never Walk Alone !! |
