Shanghai has always been a fun place. Loads of variety for all budget. However, the costs of fun have certainly gone up. 1. marriott hongqiao is quite an isolated place by its own, dunno why you choose to stay there.

2. shanghai, although very much bigger than spore, is not really that big until the saunas or ktvs are spaced very very far away. for your location, if you read this thread, XYP and hilton hotel HS are located nearby.
