I just started coming to korea from work i never was here before and i caught up reading the entire 100 pages of this thread and that area got stuck in my head. Directions from another bro:
From Hongdae Ipgu Exit #8 and make an immediate right turn. At the first intersection with the small street, if U-turn left you will see that the road splits away from you. So make that left turn toward the fork, but take the right fork.
