Care to share ur updates since u are on site at cp? what are situations in ktv? Tot the KTV mgt was doing a pre opening preparations and series of campaigns of bring crowds back by cheaper beers etc? What abt girls quality and qua guy wise? Do we choose girls from ktv rooms or from pic on wechat ?

LOL – I would if I had anything much to report about KTV’s!

But even from a couple or so years ago - ever since the pricing of KTV gals had risen so dramatically coupled with a directly proportional level of their worsening attitude and service to the paying customer – I had for the most part NOT gone to KTV’s except to meet up and party with friends; certainly not only for the KTV girls. On top of that, I had benefited greatly from the spirit of caring by sharing on this and other boards to know what kind of crap to expect from KTV’s nowadays.

And as I had relayed in my previous post about the complaints of my regulars (one was a KTV girl and the other a BBS one) - you should be able to pretty well figure out that the pickings is gonna be slim, the pricing high, the rigmarole needed to just get one girl (they will not allow you to have more than one!), just to go KTV partying is not gonna be worth it. This especially since the girl is gonna be nervous the whole night (and most likely, you will also be too!) AND probably not very happy as she knows that whilst she’d be doing all the heavy lifting, others – the mommies, agents, the KTV etc - will get the most benefit.

I did go to Xing party though, and nothing much to report about this either - just a bunch of us old friends with a few girls chatting, singing, drinking and eating. And oh, by the way, the Lychee crop this year is fabulous! One of our friends bought some and it was exceptionally good! No GA checks, not expensive at all of course and …. Nothing more to report!!

I guess some town side of SZ may rise, due to e connection of MRT
ZH also because its jus opp Macau (where ppl fly to)..
For DongGuan it may take few years..as it is marked by e government as e worse in whole CHINA, in sex trade

Prices may not b cheap though

It might be possible if you look at history. When the Japanese Orgy happened in 2003, everything was closed afterwards. Nothing moved in Zhuhai for about 2 years. When you talk about a crackdown,I believe it was even worse then. Slowly things started to open and then it quickly picked up pace 2 years later.

Yes indeed, the name of the place is call 香格美拉。I guess since I was the one who mentioned this place, let me also furnish everyone with a much awaited field report of the place.

Was there on the 24th June (Tues). Went there as a bro somehow 'suddenly' flown into Shenzhen from Shanghai and was looking for some program. And so happen that another bro was also in Shenzhen and was itching to do some song singing... so here we go!

As it was pretty much a last minute decision, we only managed to arrive at the ktv at around 9pm. Stepped into the ground floor lobby and was surprised that there's no one there. Unlike all ktvs in CP, there's no one to guide us around nor ask us which room did we book. Called the manager and found out that the ktv is located on the third level and up we go.

Came out of the lift and we saw a roll of DJs on our right. We were asked about our room number and ushered into our room. Met the manager midway going to the room. We booked a small room and size of room is similar to the small room in Ouya. Decor wise, room is kinda old. Heard from the manager that this place used to be known as 大富豪 - One of the top KTV in Bao An district last time. There are newer and nicer rooms around but those are the bigger rooms. Sound system wise, I saw Nexo PS10 but the sound quality doesn't sound very Nexo (haha... must be pirated ones) but still ok lah. We had a DJ and a waitress in our room. DJ tips is 400RMB and waitress is 100RMB. Both are compulsory to have. (Reminds me of Crown Prince KTV).
Girls selection wise, as we were late, we probably viewed a total of about 100 girls. Picked 3 girls in total. A funny girl who likes to daydream and look at herself in the mirror while dancing sexily + a girl that won 9 games out of 10 in bluff dice + a girl that all three of us are keen in but none get to bring her back!

In terms of quality of girls, I feel that probably 皇廷 in Foshan is better. However, to be fair, we were at the KTV late and of course, the good ones would have been all snapped up. So until someone gets there on time to see the real strength and quality of girls there, this place would still remain a mystery. Quantity wise, I think they have about 400 girls or more. We viewed about 100 girls. There's a total of 100 rooms in the ktv and they were full house on a Tuesday night. Say if they have an average of 3 girls in each room, that would make up 300 girls. Plus the ones we saw, 400 seems to be a good guess.

In general, I would say that the attitude of the girls we had was good. No stuck up attitude and no play hand phone type. They were all pretty spontaneous in playing games. All in all, the total expenditure for the night is 2980RMB all in.

Like what Alsahaf had mentioned (his ex CA contact is working there), this place seems to be a melting pot for 'refugees' from Dongguan which includes CA and CP as well.

Just want to throw my two cents while on the topic of the demise of CP.

If u look at the history of the sex industry of all the Chinese-dominant countries/societies, i.e. Taiwan, HK, Singapore, they all went through golden periods of mongerability with cheap, easily accessible, abundant pussies when the standard of living was low. The government and people just cared more about putting food on the plate and less about moral values and social evils.

As vaChina ascends in its economic hierarchy and people become more educated and more dependent on skills and knowledge and less on bodily assets, you will find fewer and fewer hot girls who are willing to work in SN or KTV. The government also will care about its image more. Hence, you get dramatic rise in PPI (pussy price index) and drop in PQI (pussy quality index).

It is an open secret that Chinese government tries to emulate itself after Silliport, an authoritarian, but pragmatic and successful regime. So, can expect vaChina will still allow some degree of mongering, but just not the in-your-face, flower street glory.

So, the days are numbered that vaChina will become as boring and sexually depressing as Taiwan or Silliport. It is also inevitable that millions of young mongers from the rising middle class in vaChina will start roaming the planet like their Taiwanese and Silliporean counterparts, driving up PPI even further.

Just be glad we were ever part of the glory days of CP. Enjoy what is left in other playgrounds, e.g. Thailand, as it may not last long once the tsunami of Chinese mongers hits.
