Look how CR in the 1st few seasons where he was so selfish and individualistic with manure till Fuckerson changed him to become a world class player. The past Madrid players was overshadowed by barca look how JM changed them with his authority to be 6 Pts in front of them now. Players gotta play to the mgr tactics and if that fails..the mgr should shoulder most of them blame. Btw, anyone knows is King a permanent mgr now cos the last time I know he is only caretaker till the end of the season ..

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Wow so much heat on Kenny. Everything is now blamed on him, his tactics, his signings, his pro-British ways, his stubbornness.
What I saw yesterday was a very poor team performance - not just Kenny's new signings, but everyone, including Gerrard and Reina. Carra was horrible in particular; 2 years ago he would not have made that sort of header leading to the first goal. Shall we blame Evans for picking him in defence many years ago? Shall we play Coates instead? Oh wait, he is not British huh... The blame shd be laid at the feet of everyone at the club, including Kenny, Henderson, Carroll, but the rest too. Let the tired diatribe and cliches rest pls. PS. I thought Flanagan acquitted himself marvellously in a very poor team. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Am glad that there is a group of passionate fans here who care so much for the team. We say it as we see it, so if the tactics sucks or the play sucks, we voice it. But does not mean we don't support the club. Liverpool fans are one of the most vocal and loyal ones around. But on current form, totally unacceptable. Look at Sunderland, a change of manager produced such solid performances from the same players. Agree with those that says KD
has to start to shoulder the blame, if he is not the King, I suspect his head might have rolled already. 4 pts out of a possible 18 is shameful. How can questions not been asked of the manager when we lose to the bottom 3 teams with 100 million investment in players? No one is bigger than the club. We are Liverpool FC, not some Mickey Mouse team. We will continue to support our beloved club. You'll Never Walk Alone

Like it or not, if Pool could finish 6th we should be more than happy. But after Newcastle's demolition of WBA tonite, and with a massive 8 pt gap, it's gonna be a mountain to climb. Unless if we could narrow the gap to 5 by beating Newcastle at home next week and win our remaining matches. Frankly, with our current form playing to mood swings, we are not fit to play in Europe unless we improve dramatically next season. If we could disgustingly lose to 2 bottom BPL clubs, conceding 5 goals with horrendous defending, how are we goin to face the likes of the top European teams? Sacking KD may not be the solution. As many bros already pointed out, it all boils down to our mentality - the desire, the compassion, the 'semangat'. No need to take Devils as example ... juz take a look at the likes of Newcastle today .. and how Swansea and Norwich play week in week out. We have such a strong squad on paper ... arguably one of the most expensively assembled this season. But how do we knock some senses into our players to improve their mindset? Im sure the management and trainers in Anfield are still searching for clues.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
A quick look at the latest BPL standings certain made me realize a lot of things..
Current leaders Man City have scored twice as many goals (72) as compared to Liverpool (36) in the BPL so far. At Anfield, Liverpool have only scored 19 goals. This is 3 lesser than HALF of what Man City have achieved at the Etihad Stadium of 44 goals. No other team has drawn as many games at home as Liverpool (8). The closest is Wigan (7), whom we lost 2-1 to last night. The gap between us and Newcastle could be as huge as 11 points should we lose to them when we travel to Sports Direct Arena this coming Sunday. Lastly, we could be as low as 9th in the table if we lose to Newcastle (away) while Sunderland and Everton win their matches against Man City (away) and West Brom (home) respectively.. Also, a big win for Swansea and Norwich against Tottenham and Fulham (both away games) respectively could see them overtake us as well, meaning we might potentially drop to 11th in the standings in just the space of 7 days All these stats point to one big conclusion: Liverpool have to pull up their socks against Newcastle this coming weekend or else we'll be staring at a mid-table finish this season. |

Im so scared to c the tables these few weeks... Thought we'd go down to 10th after the miserable lost to Wigan on Sat... But lo and behold, we r still there... Clinging on to 7th place with at least 4 teams looking to overtake us next week...
But im sure what loyal bros had said as above, we will definitely stick to the team thru thick and thin as after all these years, we r still supporting Pool like theres no other team else worth supporting... Im strangely excited to know we r meeting a top half team ( Newcastle) again next week and im very sure we'd whack them like the way we had beaten other top teams this season... And do we have any more relegation threatened teams left on our fixtures? Lets all hope the team re-group and focus on playin together better and lets also hope KD do some detailed planning for the remaining few fixtures so as to select the best available players and motivate them. Must let the players know that the Kops are dying to c them lift Liverpool oiu of this disastrous state.. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Liverpool's remaining fixtures:
8 BPL matches (4 @ Anfield and 4 away) and 1 FA Cup match Newcastle away 1 April Aston Villa home 7 April Blackburn away 10 April Fulham home (postponed, date tbc) Carling Cup vs Everton/Sunderland @ Wembley 14 April West Brom home 22 April Norwich away 28 April Chelsea home 6 May Swansea away 13 May if Man City were us, they would be so happy with such remaining fixtures for a title run-in because with exception of Newcastle and Chelsea, the rest of the matches are against lower half table opponents. But having lost to relegation teams like QPR and Wigan, we have no reason to be optimistic about the remaining fixtures unless we perform much better. |

Play well praise the heroes (but never the so called British signings unless you are referring to Bellars?). Play poor and it's Henderson, Adam, Carroll (and now Dalglish). This is the discerning Pool fan? Kenny sacked if he were in another club after winning our first trophy in 6 years? Thank god we are not Chelsea. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Hey bro rahl, why are you lecturing me? Can't we all express our disappointment? Ok, since it's me, can't I express my disappointment? Because I'm a newbie here? I've been a die hard fan since the day I watch it thrash Spurs 7-0, can u remember when is that?
I am ready to praise KD to the skies if he gets the team going again, and I'll gladly eat humble pie. Again, I just wish for the team to at least perform well and make a fight of things. And please to do not character assassinate me, I thought Reds fan will say You'll Never Walk Alone to each other as well. Don't be biased against me; if you think the way you do, you should also be quoting other fan's post here. Why only single me out? Finally, I do not wish to engage into a slanging match here, just ask that fans ve allowed to express their disappointments and views in this thread.

Human are easy to understand actually.
They likes to listen to good things but tends to run away from facts which is not soothing to the ears. I always emphasized that there are millions of different type of Liverpool fans from every dot of the planet not only Singapore...there definitely will be millions of diff views and opinions - even my 30 yrs of best friend which is a die-hard fan have daily arguments and views on the team so how about a virtual forum I'm a loner here because my negative views are not always appreciated here because human tends to think once you say bad about something means you don't like that thing/team/person anymore (how shallow isn't it) Nevertheless as long as we are fair to our conscience ..who cares about other. We are just fans of Liverpool, not the shareholders or management team of them End it off : You'll Never Walk Alone

well. i shared the same sentinments of most pool fans here. this is the forum to express one's view on the team, nobody has the rights to stop anyone from doing that here. if you r a blind die hard fan and cannot accept criticism, you can just walk away! Dont have to give your so called expert 'lecture" here.We are no expert, just voicing our views. YNWA!

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Wrong policy of buying British apart from Bellamy. Those that did not come thru the ranks will never understand the boot room culture.
Fark the buy British policy. Instead promote youth like sterling, Flanagan, Robinson, and a few others that deserve their chance. Gone are the days where you can buy a Barnes, Beardsley, Aldridge, or even a Staunton without manure, macs or chelski getting first option as they are in CL year in year out. |
