Hi bros,

im a newbie here and 2 of us are planning to go to batam on 27th April for few days.

just trying to look around here for more info. i will be grateful if you guys can provide me more guides. esp where to get young n hot chick and where to chill at night eg pub, club. hehe. anyone wants to party also welcome to join us

I just bought an Indon SIM card at neighbourhood outlet. Its XL SIM card. Asked the uncle is there any value in the new card. He said RP5k. But SIM card cost me S$12. But when i dial *123# to check the balance, it prompt the following message:

RBT Insya Allah Maher Zain
1 Mau (7rb)
2 Prabayar
3 Prascabayar
4 Internet/BB
5 Konten
6 Lain2

How come never show whats the balance value and when this SIM card expire?

Tried to use a translator for the word so I have no idea if it's correct but I think it's the second option as that translate to prepaid.

Your card is 70K type, which is for the NUMBER ALONE. Nice numbers cost even more.

You also need to top up after buying the card only. This card calling overseas is cheapest among the telcos.

Just a reminder for all brothers taking the ojek. I personally saw an accident infront of DC mall( infront of the river). The poor chap did not put on a HELMAT, and was hit by a lorry, gone case.

Police came, the kampong people came, etc, super long traffic jam.

Brothers, please wear helmet, or take a taxi, if you treasure your life. Traffic here is a joke with NO RULES. pot holes are everywhere and if you drive, dun speed. Max speed you can go for a smooth ride is about 50 -60 Km per hour in the streets.

couple of dollars spend is better than your life gone, espeically if you are a tourist here.

Wah... scary sia. Lucky that day I took ojek to Nagoya Hill nothing happen. Next time NO more ojek for me. So scared to hear this kind of mishap news happen.

That means the uncle shortchanged me. Told me inside got value rp5k. But how come when i dial *123#, they did not prompt present card expiry date? How am i to know when my last day to top up? Maybe go and top up again. Hope to see some changes..
