If I remember correctly, the Myanmar Junta has severely restricted its people from leaving the country since 2 years back.

Have not met their FLs before, only a couple that worked as ktv girls that were Myanmar Chinese, first time I knew of such migration.
Would not have know she was Myanmar nationality if she did not showed me her passport.

Many Myanmar pple came to Thailand years before the military coup back in 2021...Many of these Burmese were already in Thailand many years before the military coup. Not to mention, those who crossed the border to Thailand as illegal immigrants as easily as crossing a river / longkang (the recent saga about the scam centers at the border; Thailand's border with Myanmar stretches more than 2400 km!)

Thailand has special Work Permit visa for its 3 neighboring countries, namely Myanmar, Laos & Cambodia. Not long ago, it also gave this special Work Permit to Vietnamese.

Besides Myanmar FLs, back in the 90s, there were already Myanmar pple working in the F & B industry such as waitresses in sg. I was also working part-time in the F & B industry in sg back then, encountered some of them. Some of them are beautiful, good figure, but their names sound strange...the suaku I was back then, hahaha

Integrating into sg society, they had local sg bfs after some time (I was focussing on financially helping my family, didn't had much extra for dating, ie, time & $$, how to date a gal?). I remember 1 of them, when after a group outing together including her bf, they (her bf drives a Honda) even drove me back home after the outing. It's not that much on the way for them, but more for friendship & when we were colleagues.
