I just wanna share my lattest experience here in HCM.

I had a great time with two hk friends as I brought them to some of the famous KTV here. All get what we want in 4 night with SYTs. I rmb one of the night we have fun in the currently hottest mid-high end KTV from 6pm till 2am (all waiting for us to finish as we were their last customer) with 21m VND in total (including decent dinner and just beers but we drink a lot). This really beats my expecation as I thought it should be higher.

Then since they flew back first and I am still here I start to explore new place. Then I went to a newly open boutique bar which was a let down. Not only girls not up to the stardard but it's pricy. 5mVND for 2 hours of beer drinking excluding tips (no snack open and just few cans of beer). In the end, I was so upset that I went back to CatWalk. To my surprise, despite how many negative reviews since covid, I found the experience to be good. The fact that I sit on the lounge means my expenes is minimum. And the girls which are the most important things we looking for is actually above my expecation. I easily spot few 7 points+ girls and I choose one who speak good English. Turns out, I savage my night.

All in all, I think sticking to big houses are important as they not likely to dissapoint that much. And Cat Walk being the old time favourite seems to find a floor on its price/performance due to very little cusotmers and thus getting more choices and better services.

Depends on your language skills. The Viet ones are real but you need to at least have some Viet or conversation will be zero.

Just came back from a 3 days solo trip and decide to share my experience. Each return trip will make u more knowledgeable not only abt the places there and girls stuff.

The last 2 trips, I ventured into the back alley jap bars knowingly this area is mainly for GFE and likelihood to kena chop by their katana. Because I have managed to upped one tall slim thick chick made me wanna try a different target again.

This time round mission failed, after 2nd visit. Be warned that they will pull all sorts of stunts like the usual ktv girls. Make u order bottle, food, ballons, and later only to tell u oh sorry she’s having period tonight, suddenly big auntie visit. Hit and miss thing… wasted close to 800 on this bar girl. Take note the prices here on all menus r in USD, end bill will include 10% tax too.

After wasted 2 hrs, I was thinking whether to head back BLC as I have 4* babe over there and could get my host manager to maybe intro 5* ones. As it was already 1am decided to head to the main fruit shop. Was impressed that current batch have a lot of syts. Spent the next 2 days trying 3 different ones. Without even heading back BLC lol.

Most likely returning to BLC next month to check it out again. My advice is just go fruit stall and BLC. kTV if you are going with a group. GFE bar strictly No unless u r feeling rich. Refrain from walking there too. It’s because once u set eyes on a target you may have an urge to try… embark on a mission… hahaha

For legit massage, actually went to Golden Lotus directly opp the circle k mart. 450K VND for 1hr of solid massage with tea and mango served once session done. Somehow love the ambience oriental setup with birds chirping sound and Buddhist mantra music. Surprised to see SG ladies there too. This area is so popular until local charbos will come here check it out lol.

Any Bros here recommend which bank account to open? I was told at customs that if I open an account there will not need to declare everytime if bring more than 15mil VND

What do you mean do not need to declare everytime you bring more than 15 mil....dun be fooled by customs....what they meant was you do not need to bring in so much cash if you have money in Vietnam bank...

Do you know that they expect you to remit money to your bank account and suffer the horrendous lousy exchange rate...

Do you know that you cannot have a ATM card if you have Vietnam bank account...also cannot bank in cash to your Vietnam bank account...all these except if you have a TRC card if you are employee in Vietnam or spouse...

Welcome to Vietnam and HCM already lost the competitive edge to other cities after leading 5 years...

Not entirely accurate. There is a way to get an atm card with local bank account with full banking facilities.

Definitely I knew there are ways to get atm card if you hold TRC...

I better explain basic what the local banks policies if you are just tourist visa...which I assume most people are...

Tourist visa are allowed to open bank account but no atm card...cannot bank in cash...unless you knew other ways to get which I also keen to learn...if can pm me...

If you are Vietkieu then yes can get full banking facilities with any Vietnam banks...Vietkieu gets 5 year visa with 6 months stay...after 6 months must leave Vietnam and come back renew another 6 months...
