Decree Nisi & Decree Absolute.

Complicated case with contest.
It will take a longer time. I am not sure.

If it is uncontested, can be as fast as lest then 5 months after filing. 2 weeks for engaging lawyer and preparation of documents and getting the commissioner of oaths to sign the documents and file with the court. 1 month later interim judgment. 3 months later final judgement and divorce is finalised.

If no kid..... just file for non-consumation.
Say both staying separate whilst waiting for HDB.
This is fastest way...... but make sure your lawyer on the ball and file the necessary papers on schedule. Most case delays caused by lawyers forget or delay to file the court documents.
If all go smoothly.... can settle in 3 mths and become bachelor status again... not divorcee.

Many years ago, I had a lady friend who wanted to try this method. Her lawyer told her she is pretty and sexy. If she use this method, the judge will find it hard to believe he did not have sex with her.
