Just got back from HCMC. Being cheonging like mad for 3 days in a row. Everyday I'll go to shampoo hair and body massage by pretty babes at Bui Thi Xuan, bonking and drinking. I wish it never ends. HCMC rocks!

Seriously looking into the barber shop (no hanky panky) business. I'll be traveling to Vietnam very often for more research trips. Wonder why no one has started one in Singapore yet? Probably due to work visa for Viet nationals? The main selling point lies in the beautiful Viet girls. It will be a hit perhaps? For sure I'll be very tempted to try if I ever come across one in Singapore myself. I always try to put myself in the shoes of a consumer. If I'm able to convince myself then the confidence is higher. Of course high rental and overheads are expected in Singapore. The rule of business is buy low, sell high to maximise profit margin.

Unless it's your loved one I guess the best is don't ask them why. We just enjoy ourselves and leave them to handle their own problems. After all the stories are more or less the same.

Bro, i am sure many bros who have been in VN for the past many years have thought of the saloon business. Even for myself, i have thought of it back in 2003. But there are a few areas that you need to consider:

(1) Work Permit for the Viet ladies to work here which is impossible to get. With the bad record of Viet ladies in Singapore, u can forget about bringing them here for the saloon

(2) The amount of water used for washing hair. Vietnamese saloon rinse hair for more than 30 mins. It will cost a lot in Singapore

(3) With all the overheads, how much are you going to charge yr clients? $50 for a hair wash without bonking? Who's going to come?

Everyone knows buy low , sell high. Not only business man know. The real businessman will know that buy low, sell high is not the only consideration. Bro, pardon me for saying this, you have only been to VN once or twice, you still have to learn a lot about doing business in VN.

Thanks for pointing out those factors. I know the work permit is the biggest hurdle. Singapore authorities only allow certain nationalities to work in certain trades. Eg. Malaysian or PR.

Yes this is my first Vietnam trip. I always try to find unique products or services from around the world and import them into Singapore. Hope to have more bros like you come out and share their business experiences in Vietnam.

haha... all sounds so familiar. In fact recently, one WL admitted to me. All these are their easiest way to get money from singaopre men. They have nothing to lose, just try their luck on as many men as possible. Sit back and hope the "fish" will bite the bait. Some don't ask $$ out front, but say they want to borrow for medical bills for so and so. Promised to pay back after working hard in JC/Geylang. They believe chances of us asking them to pay back the $$ is low. Even we do ask, they will come out with all kinds of excuses (no business la.... and etc), worse, they just disappear lor, off and change HP lor.

She told me all the tricks they are using .... if my england is powerful, I can write a book liao. She open up to me because she knows I am too "smart" and can't be her target. But we enjoyed each other accompany as "friends" or customer-service provider relationship. So besides sex, I enjoy listening to the stories of how she and her "sisters" earn money in singapore.

When I see worries or sadness on their face, I know "stories" coming. So usually I don't ask them why so sad or why so worries. Most of the time I just walk away because I am quite sure some other "heroes" will come out and help them to solve the problems. I can't afford to help them, i myself got many problems to settle myself.
