I am far from rich, i am just a little above average. I hold different views and lifestyle from the rest. I do cheong when i was younger, but i know when to stop. Cheonging and lam tinh weren't the first thing on my mind when i woke up in the morning and neither were they the last thing i thought of before going to bed at night. After coming back from the UK, i was a poor fresh graduate and i felt my pay wasn't enough to sustain me if i cheong a lot. I did have my No.2 for a period of time in VN, but i let her go after i realised that she's also going for money also. A man needs a career and assets in order to achieve more in life. I don't feel proud being a cheongster as i know most cheongsters are broke. Make your dick happy by burning your pocket and sacrificing family happiness, that's not what i want. I have seen too much in VN when i was staying there, i saw how happy families were broken up because of the husband's / wife's affairs outside. I have seen how rich old Singaporean man went to Vn with a nearly million SGD and came back broke like shit and ended up in old folks home, all because he thought he knows the VB well and can manipulate them into giving him sex with little price paid. I never underestimate the VBs as i know they got more than what you can think of up their sleeves. After coming back, i met and seen how local man with Viet spouse brag without brains. Stay in 3 room flat and still need to rent out 1 room to earn income, drives a taxi and yet the wife goes around bragging to everybody that they are very rich as the husband got `income' that cannot be declared. I see how viet spouse take education for kids as unimportant and how they demand that their children speak TV all the time. I see how VB have bfs outside and yet put up a good show infront of the SGP husband by acting demure.

A man without a house above the head, without a career and without responsibility is a loser. Being a cheongster is nothing to be proud of. (no offense to any samster here) . You can lift your head high when you work hard and is able to achieve what most others cannot achieve and is also able to raise up highly educated children.

Quite true, there are many cheongster who are still filthy rich. I know few frds not close had several Vbs or cbs. Easily a month, they spend thousands on them. I had a friend easily spend 10K a night on those flower KTVs without getting anything. When I played big 2 with him, if he don't like your face, he can make you lose together with him. You call them "dumb" or you call them what.

Another friend of mine working doing side business, like to bao Cbs, each month you can see him with different Cbs. Tell him bao vbs cheaper, he say can't communicate. Do you believe that he can put easily 30k into cbs handbags, not afraid that she will run away.

There are minority of vbs married to Sinkie live comfortably with maid taking care of the household chores. My good friend married a vb; within 6 months get PR for his wife cos of his high income. Like singviet say, he don't cheong anymore. My friend too, don't cheong anymore, maybe entertain us once every year.

sure there are...Vietnam has 95 million population...about 51% are girls...so many to choose and you cannot find good decent ones ha...

time will tell what a relationship will be true or not...not think with small head...initially always feel good...but only after 6 mths, 1yr, 2yrs then can tell...if any relationship can last more than 2 yrs then have hope...

There will be some that are really true and sincere , but they are minority. Its better to treat them with suspicion than to trust immediately. It takes a few years to really know if they are true or do they have ulterior motives.

Nowadays, almost every Sgp man is saying that their VB is not WL.
- Some tell their parents that their gal came to Singapore to attend friend's birthinday party and they got to know each other. (Wah , so rich huh? Take plane come here attend birthday party when they don't even have enough to feed their family.)
-Some say their gal is student in Singapore. (Wah, cannot even speak proper english and say is student in Singapore for a few years? I have been sending students to Singapore for more than 10 years and 1 look i know whether student or not. Normally after 6 months English course, viet students will be able to speak english much better than the WL.)
- Some say their gal is businesswoman (Wah, so super duper huh? Sleep around with you every other day and is businesswoman? yes, she is in the agriculture business, she is a chicken)

My former neighbour even better. His Viet spouse can speak a bit of english and he goes around telling others his wife is degree holder. When its time to apply for PR, his mother asked him to ask his wife to submit the degree certificate, he says the wife lost the degree certificate while moving house. I think he never heard of such things call Replacement Certificate.

A good and educated VN gal will not sleep around with you so easily. These gals have their sight set on guys of a certain level and they are from the middle class. Normal Singaporean who do not know VN are easily conned but for those who have been in VN long enough, we can guess the truth easily.

Nowadays, cabs are used as private cars to send kids to school, send wife to market, send wife for shopping, fetch kids from school etc. Then they say earn not enough. Always say their life is hard, drive 10 hours a day. But they never realise, after minus away all the time used for personal trips, they only drive maybe 6 to 7 hours a day. But I do know of 1 cab driver who is very hardworking . A rare find .

Recently I met a girl in Vietnam. Notice that when a girls has less relatives, sibling and friends, they tend to be less demanding.

This girl only have a mother and no one else in the family. And when come to friend, there is only one close friend.

And her favorite hobby is sleeping. She ever clock 14 hours.
