Like what vlenar has said, u will be amazed by how much they can earn working in Cambodia. Even guys are working decent jobs over in Cambodia.

The reason why some gals chose to work there is Not because of the khr to vnd conversion rate ... The main reason is because they are paid is USD !

The reason why khr is so high is because no body uses them. Most of the transaction are paid in USD.

How can u say he is mad ? Anyway you got no absolute right to say that BUT you definitely have the absolute right to share your experience n $ management . His situation might be different from yours. Maybe He want to give more?

she is WL, very hard to stay long period because of the ICA now very strict of them coming in. Maybe i will try staying half a month in viet or what if possible lor. But such a long time i must be in province for at least half of the duration, HCM is not her house. She staying with relative.

Was told most of the transactions are in USD as u mentioned. However, the locals and viets pay mostly in KHR converted from USD. Those that are requested to pay in USD are usually the foreigners.

If she don't come here often, chances of her coming in is higher.

Staying in VN and staying here is very different. She have to get used to living here and have to have a 1st feel of living far away from her family in another country. Not much use if you go there to stay with her, cos ultimately she will be staying here with you, unless you plan to migrate there. Not likely right?

Thank god, my gf then is only asking for 300-350 a month if possible from me to support herself (not working as per my request), 4 year old daughter and her mum who also runs a small coffee stall from home and some snooker tables. Sometimes deliberately told her im broke so give her only 200 a month. She managed to survived for 1 year+ and I made her my wife.

She quit her job in a HCMC disco and moved back to the village since we got together and stays home doing nothing but accompanying her daughter and flying to singapore to accompany me for 1 month then go back for 1-2 month and comes back to Singapore again. Showed her efforts and commitments hence decided I can make her wife.

While i was there in her village, i spoke to her brother-in-law and found out that he is making around 450 USD each month doing metal works and feeds 2 children (12yo and 7 yo), his wife and his parents. So judging from that, i dont reckon 300-350SGD a month is asking for too much.

Bro, it is hard for us to give you an estimate as living in the village is different from living in HCMC. Living in HCMC D1 is different to living in HCMC D12. Tuition or school fess? Local Uni fees is about 500USD a year.

Cost of food is also different as mentioned above. And when it comes to food, it is very important on what they eat and where they eat.
