Am looking for alternatives as flying by HK really damn tiring and must hve longer buffer time especially CP to HK to catch flight.
Kerna before Huatong timing set off delayed, or go few places to pick ppl, vehicle breakdown, and many a times issues at SZ/HK custom either jam or passenger passport with problem.
one thing to take note....Direct Ferry Transfer to and from HKIA is not applicable for Budget airline or maybe the rules have changed

They dun allow me to buy ferry ticket coz my flight from HK to SIN is via Tiger
I nearly missed my flight that trip
Only tiger airline does not allow u to check in at the ferry terminal. Jetstar is ok.
All major airline also ok. You can check out what airlines allow u to check in on hkia website.

I have been taking SZ air line for the past few trip when silkair is too ex haha.
Overall the timing is good as mention but SZ air always have china tour group and the plane mostly is 80% fill also when flying out from sing.
The plane they use is same as silkair no diff. And sometime they have prettier 空姐. Haha
I (alone) am making a maiden visit to CP for 3 or 4 days from 28 Nov. Any brothers/group in CP at same period? Can hold my hand around CP to enjoy the fun stuff there ? Thanks
If HKIA is the only option and not be able to get the MPV service, then the train would be the best option. If you are on the budget, you could get the airport train express and take connecting MRT to Hong Hum station.. if not, then take a taxi to Hong Hum if you have 3 persons with you.
The best option is SZ airport... and get private car to pick you up. I always enjoy the train ride...

Nope bro... I went there at night session... Last week I went to V6 in Plaza Sultan, chio Viet also has $200 sitting fee.
in TAM and ont he 3rd of TAM, the sitting fee is Minimum $350 !!!

Well, but also maybe they really command this price. I do know some gals who work at TAM area who will not sit for booking of less than $300... Haiz...
i believe this could be due to passengers check-in luggage system for budget airlines that restrict u from taking ferry to HKIA from CP ....

Have to book MPV minimum 3 days in advance in CP
Sunday all Tom Dick & Harry all leaving CP

taking the MTR then connect CRH train from Hong Hum is good if u have light luggages becoz the connection between TSH MTR station with East TSH MTR station is a long long walk ...
what i did previously is to take a cab from Hong Hum MTR station to Kowloon MTR station then connect direct to airport express train to HKIA ...

affirmative ... i used to book the return MPV to HKIA from Gofly once i arrived in CP ... but i really hate going to HKIA on sunday ...

I used to take the Airport Express then Hung Hom, but I figured a better way. I take a bus (Airport Express Bus) which goes to the stop before Lowu, take the MTR to Lowu, and cross the border on foot (It's fast if you got APEC card). Then at Luohu I take the CRH to CP.
Of course most times i take MPV, but recently it's been so crowded, must wait 1 to 1.5 hour for transport! and really cramped in MPV. I prefer the free and easy via my method, especially since i pack light.
