i dont think there is a bar counter in ktv (correct me if i'm wrong). although i only been to cp once. Girls can be brought back without going for ktv trips but like mayflower you need to wait till after 9 pm as if not there will be a fine impose. As for other ktv, need to explore when i'm there anyway you can engage agent for help during your stay there. You can get them at the forum sticky. they will be more than happy to help you out.

As for mix KTV, is like going our k box in sillypore with delicious MM(mei mei) with many other like minded bros which you dont know. usually cost around 250rmb to 700 rmb depending on what you drink.

Mixed KTV sessions are KTV sessions which you arrange through the agents advertising in this section. You will be charged a fixed fee of RMB 300 - 500 or 600 depending on your choice of liquor to be consumed, and will be assigned to a room at a KTV of your choice, together with other guys who've joined such mixed KTV session. Contact these agents for further details.

Most KTV's do have a main room where they have floor shows, performances etc and you can sit here instead of having your own KTV room. You will be charged some sort of minimum consumption charge (lower than if in a room), and can avail yourself of the gals to sit with you (and of course take out). Not a bad deal if you're by yourself or if only with a small group/arrive late at the KTV when you don't want to still have to pay the minimum room charge.

Also, another advantage when sitting at these main rooms is that a lot of the KTV gals who did NOT already get sat many times hang around here just to while their time away. They're also hoping to be chosen by guys who come in late and do not book a room, those who just saunter in, those who go out from their rooms to watch a particular show/performance etc.

There's a new bar called "Super" which open it doors recently. Heard that it's partially owned by a Singaporean. You may be able to pick up gals there. I've seen pictures posted by their manager on WeChat. Great place!

hey, Does this apply for most KTV in CP or only few. I am also traveling alone and in case cannot join any of the bro or if mix-k is full, that maybe an option.
