Batam Trip: 28-29 May 2011

Went Batam with a friend on 28th May at 10:30am and was happy to see Bro. NDND was at the terminal waiting for us. Its like going back to home land and a brother is there waiting for your return,

We then check in to our hotel, Farmosa and went Farm Visiting at around 11:00am.

Went Golden Bird, not much gals. 82, got gals but don’t like. Then went round & round, here & there, dunno why see no gal that fix…. Maybe because I got one in mind but kanna potong jalan by someone since Friday even I had booked her.

End up we went to Indah 2 and prepare to take high pricing one… me saw a gal in red! Chio & young! Ask, 800k -_-“ my friend saw one in black. Ask 800k -_-“ mouth say willing but heart don’t wish to pay one for so high. Lol. End up I suggest we sit there TKSS as mami said more will come. After which we both settle 500K.

Then went Indo Rasa for lunch. It is a coffee shop with many stalls for you to order. I don’t want to take those Chinese food like Chicken Rice, Nasi Lomak, Ba Cho Mee, bla bla bla. So order Malay food, but Mee Goreng. Haha… Friend follow but want Mee Rubus. :P Feel like abit joker we are. Haha… End up my Mee Gorang like Cha Kuai Tiao without Ham but got Prawn & Sotong… my friend Mee Rubus best… we look at it… I said: “Bro.. their Mee Rubus like our Meggie Mee with egg…” haha…
So Lunch at Indo Rasa: 3 set of Seafood Soup, 1 Mee Goreng, 1 Mee Rubus, 5 drinks, 3 pack of ciggy = Rp160K.

Then we went back hotel room and R&R till evening 6:30pm and went for dinner at A1

Dinner at A1: 2 Crabs, Fried Baby Sotong, Prawn, Chu-Chu, Kang Kong, Oyster with Egg & 6 bottle of beer: Rp480K

After Dinner, went to a pub next to A1 for some drinks. It was a nice place to chill out with and there are PRs around to accompany you if you like and late in the night, Singers comes in to perform.
We took around 12 glass of different order and a pool table and cost us Rp600K

It was a wonderful trip and thanks to Bro NDND accompany us around even he was kind of busy there. XD

Ferry S$48 with return ticket
Hotel stay at Lovina Inn. Very near to Farmosa Rp200k+
Gal don't take 600k above one lor...
Book a taxi about 200K
Lunch, eat at coffee shop
Dinner don't order too much and no beer.

S$250 sure enough.

Mine last week:

Ferry S$48
Farmosa Hotel S$60
Transport S$25 (S$25 X 2 person)
Gal 600K
Lunch+MISC 100K each
Dinner about 250K each (with 6 bottles of beer)
Some more go pub drink and play pool 300K each

Bros, just to check whether there is a need to change RP? Cos all my frenz told me they use SGD there at Batam. Going there this weekend for the first time.

Hi. Just back from batam, hmm must say I learn alot on this trip my favourite hotels : lai lai hotel n Asia prima hotel my favorite massage is still angal my favorite booking joint is still gold bird. N I speciall recomm a1 seafood lagi best!

Gentle Reminder for all bros that got gf or simpan cewk in batam.

In this period, do not stay in your gf/cewk kost/house if you and her do not have a legal marriage document. Advice to stay in hotel. Recently batam polisi is quite hardworking on that.

Hotel Bali was raid last nite, heard two lorry of cewk and cowk got caught. Cina, indian, pribumi, local and foreigner all have. Hotel Bali have been use to rent out their room as kost, monthly rental, so will be taken as kost, not hotel.

Batam all use rupia, except Harris Resort, menu all in dollar, but they still accept rupia. Change of rupia is a must, but don't change here, change in batam, especially in nagoya area for better rate.

Thanks bro. Will be like lost lamb going there this Friday night thus hoping to get information. Hopefully everything will be smooth. Going there with my 20 year old uncle both of us dun speak or understand berhasa.

Read thru the thread, see any bros going this weekend. Join them. Coz if don't know bahasa and don't know how to count rupia or market rate, mostly end up kena big carrot. Or if you need, I can PM you one driver. He can handle everything for you there. He can speak little english but enough to understand.

Ya.... since u never been to batam, dunno their words, and curreny. Advise u bao a driver.

Change your money in sg. Exchange rate now is S$1 - RP6800+. Lesser than that, look for another changer.

For easy conv. Over there, just take it as Rp100k is S$15.

U can still get FLs. By recommendation of course. Not fm Teksi or Ojek. Cos i never trust them. But some hotel staff do have lobang. Tis 1, imo, quite safe cos hes working at the hotel. Anything screwup can go after him. Only FLs fm diskotek, Mall....u have to be wary...
