I tink for a 1st timer,u did pretty alrite. Because I did much worse. Just to share a bit on my 1st btm trip,driver brought me to Morena & i didn't listen to nono's advise & book a syt there for 1.2 juta & she ran away after i had only 1 shot when i cm back hotel from dinner. 1.2 juta just burnt off like tat & for only 1 shot.

I have yet to see a 1st timer who didn't listen & not getting chop,tis thread has many samples of fails for newbies not listening. U just didn't follow nono's btm beginner guide.Hope u won't be dishearten & will learn watever u tink u fail in yr trip. Frm yr tis fail,yr next trip to btm i'm sure will be better.

I making my way to Batam 2nd week of Sept. Normally I stay in Harbourbay..either M1 or Nine Days.
This trip I would prefer to be nearby Nagoya Hill.
So I have a question..apart from Formosa and Swiss Inn and Goodway, is there any other newer hotel in that area? I have seen website for Nagoya Hill Hotel but it seems to be a tad expensive and more catered for families and group tours.
Godes seem reasonable. My budget would be abt 400 k a nite.
Can anybody give some inputs and hopefully recommendations?
