chinese service gals DO exist in BT bro, but their price is on the high side as in comparison with the local gals' pricing. Me and buddy did enquired on the prices and we were quoted 900K rupiah i.e approximately SGD$154.. but of course it's an overnight booking. If compared with Singaporean standards, can still be considered cheap ya?

If you like, i will PM you the cabbie and papi's contact and address tonight. How about it bro?

come to think of it, 20K cut for the cabbie's is actually very very reasonable already because the poor chap brought us to about 5 joints before we decided on our gals, which happened to be at last joint we visited. Even if the cabbie didn't ask for the commission, I'd still give him about 20K as comms as he's really patient and helpful bringing us around. They still need to make a living mah hor? From this experience, I'd say the 'market rate' would still be between 20-30K for the cabbie's cut.

I rated the cabbie an overall of 8/10 for his services.

Anyway bros, if you guys do intend to visit BT again in the near future and if I can be of any help in any way, do PM me ya? I'd give you both my help as much as i can. I'd probably visit BT again sometimes in either July or August, and very likely I'll stay in Hotel Utama.. the hotel front office recepts (chinese) quite chio man! *evil thoughts* heeheeheehee...

Just a word of caution here, there are many papi, mami or even the girls themselves, claiming their very fair local malay/indo girls as chinese and charges high price for them. And if you are not used to them, you'll take them as chinese.
Think most people when they wanted a chinese mainly is that they wanted some chinese/english speaking girls?
FYI, many of the joint's local malay/indo cewek do speak a little chinese/hokkien, enough to get "things" going lah..
And trust me, they are more fun then the not all but most chinese girls.

Based on what I have read here, I would think that your cabbie made at least 40,000 to 100,000 rupiah commission (for each girl) on the ceweks you booked out depending on the place you booked from. Since no names of joints was mentioned, I cannot be more specific than that.

Anyway, if you are happy, then stay happy with your taxi driver.

In any case, since you had no other ways to find the joints, that is what is known as the "khwa thow lui" for newbie visitors. In future, if you take the trouble to remember where and learn to get there on your own steam, you can inform the papi and get the "net prices" so long as there is truly no taxi or ojek person with you.

When you ask for your net price, make sure that no other visitors are there and can hear you or, he will deny you this because he has to pay other drivers their commission for the customers they bring.

In some places, the overnight LT booking fee can be as low as 200,000 e.g. Sedona Country and the higher charges places 280,000 e.g. Permata Indah.

The exceptions are Grand Titanic 280000 to 500,000 depending on the girl &; the 2nd floor of the Island Garden 500,000 (no commission here so most taxi drivers will tell you closed down etc).

My comments are based on the many visits I have made to Batam over the years but, I would "confess" that I have not been there in the recent 3 months.

Batam is Singaporean & Malaysian sex paradise right next door provided you like local ceweks and not always looking for Chinese girls , girls who can speak Chinese etc. If the "Bules" can learn Indonesian and thrive there with the ceweks, I don't see why local Singaporeans and Malaysians cannot.

I always took the trouble to ask for name cards whenever I visited those ktv joints. Later I would update the contact (with serial code known to myself only to avoid OC suspicion) into my Hp. This way on my next trip if I dont see the need for a cabby, I would just give the joint a call or take an ojek to the joint. Save the comm...

Indeed, hotel utama got a lot of chio receptionists but too bad the time i went was full. Is a very popular hotel.

Tat time engaged a driver intro by friend and was quoted $50 for 1day 1night chauffeuring. Dunno whether got chopped but he is really patient.

Followed Gilberto's recommendation for hotel and massage salon, is really valued for money. (Really appreciate Bro Gilberto's sharing) My salute to you. Think next time those brothers with good lobang can bring us explore more valued place of interest. haha.

Overall, batam is stil a good place of relaxation. Somemore, it had developed a lot after so long never visit. Heard Batu Ampar harbour add on to a lot of convenience, next time can go for this designated ferry.

1st - if the driver follows you inside to the joint, 100% sure he will get com.
As much as $50K or more.
2nd - if the price is $300K or more for a cewek, kenna chop liao.

Let me tell you the real deal in Batam.

1) Even if driver don't follow you into the joint, outside he could have let the joint's "staff" knows that he brought you there. And if that's his regular joint, he don't even need to collect his com on the spot, but come back later after he drops you off.
2) Like Sassina mentioned, there are joints selling their cewek for more then Rp.300k, to as high as Rp.500k or even higher (Rp.700k).
3) Extra FYI, the FLs in the disco, some may charge as high as S$100 to Rp.1 juta.

Ojeks also collect commission. If you want to save the commission, you need to drop off at least some distance away and then walk over and into the joint yourself. I have done that myself even though I have a regular driver -taxi who I use.

Never do I ever let him know I am going into a booking joint or he will sneak somewhere outside to say he brought me.
