can advise if it is worth going on a day trip? If so what is the must go destinations for one such trip?

Possible. But maybe only visit the Massage shop.
Unless like me, sometime i book the hotel, check-in at 12pm, and check out in the evening.

Take 11am Ferry to Habour Bay
Lunch
Go to a proper spa to spend 2 hrs there.
Go to a Massage shop to fire off
Shop around in Batam for Instant Noodles, JCO Dount, etc
Dinner
Back to Singapore

A bit too late now,at this hour,you can only pick up leftovers from booking joint becos it is weekends. Weekends,always go early to Batam. Early as in morning type of early,940am ferry,1045am ferry (sin time). i suggest try 2mrow morning if you still wish to stick to your plan,hehehe....or go on weekdays? Then not need too early.Most girls (young and old,pretty and not-so-pretty) will all be waiting just for you and everything else upon picking your right ONE onward will be just your luck.

Agree with KO21, both are right , please, with key difference being where 2 way tickets bought. So all fine.

Just came back from Batam. Overall trip was pretty good
I would like to check with you guys if anyone got approached by some motorcyclist asking you to sit their bike? I've been pestered by few of them and i decline them nicely and yet they still insist on me sitting their bike...
Any fellow bros experience this before??

Thats what some of my colleagues always do,they all book one room just to stock pile their belongings (and shopping trophies) but they didnt go batam for hanky panky stuffs,they just go Batam rest and relax and for heavy shopping. Surprisingly,they can buy one truckload of items back to sillypore...lol.
