Is it ok to ask the girl that you are going to book to show her ID in the fuckhouse? Especially those who look barely legal. This is to protect us from bonking someone who is below 18.

What makes you think their ID is REAL?

The OKT is the one who should be checking on the age, not customers. Anyway, just to let you know in certain parts of Indonesia, if the gal starts to bleed, they can be married off.

Batam WL usually are older than other WL in Jakarta, Surabaya. They started barely 16 onwards or 17. I know a case where a gal started off to be bao by a friend( bastard), at age of 14, used her for a year and she goes off to be with another man.

After their tour around Indonesia where prices are higher, they come to batam.

It is possible to bargain down to 30k, from street. But at HB, drivers have to pay something like 5k-10k (depending ho how long they stay inside) just for entering the toll gate. (1k-2k for ojek).

Again, overpaying girls at M1 or other upscale KTVs is something, giving 10k more to a poor car driver is different. There is a family behind, wife, kids... I am usually generous with such people when they offer good service.

By the way, 50k is the standard rate specified on the table of taxi fares at Formosa. It means all those rates are negotiable down, but also that they are not stellar.

Finally, I remember on one of my last nights in Batam I took a taxi from Newton to Formosa (the girl did not want to walk, understandably). A fair rate wouuld be 30k, but those drivers ALWAYS demand 50k (from a non a local). No way to pay less. I left the taxi and I gave 50k through the window (I never want to start a discussion while in the car), just to see him starting to shout against me (he wanted 20k more) and hitting the horn like hell. I was just ignoring him, but he kept on making noise till the girl came back and gave him 10k more. He left sending me to hell.

Its Friday and i have some questions hoping some senior bros or anyone can help me out. Cos i know Sat and Sun,this thread have very little people around as most would be in Batam. So better ask before its too late.

1. The 1st,relatively quite noob question,how do you pronounce the word "Cewek" ?

2. Is there a place to change small denomination of 5k rupiah notes? I am planning to change 500k of 5k notes.

3. Where can i get the below satay dish? Or is there one near Formosa? I read in the thread the 1st pic below was horse meat. Really?

The satay is called satay padang, can get infront of Nagoya Hill, those street stalls.

Alternatively, you can get them at the kopitiam Astro Hotel( near to TOP 100 PENIUN).

There is a stall selling pork satay in A2 as well. Rather good too.

Horse meat? I have not eaten before either.

Why u need that? 10K, 20K are those I carry around. Anything smaller are for parking. 2 K each time. Just leave them in the car.
