Last time i think there used to be ferry link to nongsa but i think now they seems to cut it off.

If hes referring to Bintan resort then he may have to take a cab all d way to Tg Pinang jetty to Btm.

Another port to go batam fr Bintang is using Tanjung Uban. There are speed boat plying to Pungur. (Not try)

Its been a while since I ate at Mcdonald Batam,hehehe...maybe next trip may just drop in to give it a try. Somewhere last year, a regular set meal was sold at around 40k+ rupiah. Hopefully hasnt increase price yet.

I still like the burger from here tho (taste like Ramly burger or towards Samurai burger,hehehe..) :

...setback is, there is no aircon and open air concept in the evening. Still quite justifiable in a way as its not so crowded and if the weather isn't hot.

...there is also a jumbo sized burger selling there too,hehehe...but hasnt try before.

No regular trip.
But I'm sure that $ can work for anyone who need an exclusive trip.

I do know some resorts do make regular trips to TP for their guests to shop for local products. (Cuttlefish dry Fish krupuk...)

As for Tg. Uban I hv not try.
May be I'll hoop over when free.

Pricing very affordable as all under S$2.00!

Even in Jakarta I also can find street side burger stands selling under S$2.00.
Really miss the good old 1980s prices in Singapore.

Bro don't have to be that place to eat those burgers. Those burger places is all around batam. DC mall have 1 too if u want to sit at air conditioning or sneak in some burgers while watching movies at Nagoya or BCS. Lol

Thanks to all bros for your generous advice.. yes, we're traveling from bintan resorts to batam. Land transport we only could source from indorent, as they seem to be the only taxi service from the bintan resorts area to the uban or tp. Anyone else have better advice on bintan land tpt to the ferry terminals to batam? Seem like bintan tpt is expensive, esp originating from bintan resorts areas.

Bro, can you share where you bought the ferry ticket to batam ( per your pic of the ferry ticket here..)

Ferry tickets can get on the spot at jetty. Many counters there. Price should not be much diff.

Sorry can't advice much on bintan land transports as you know you are in the resort area, and taxi sure to be expansive. Try ask your resort service counter about the market trip. As they are using van or minibus. It should be cheaper then taxi.

As for Batam side.(from Punggur)
Taxi to Jodor about 100k

If you can walk out of the carpark and willing to wait of the Orange Angkot you pay only 15k/pax

If you can wait even longer...
There is a regular Aircon bus plying between Punggur and Jodor should cost you 4k/pax.

I always like to support these type of small vendors selling burgers or curry puffs.
