I just took a taxi from Harbour Bay to Formosa provided by the hotel,cost me 50k for 2 way. Meaning i pay 50k,the driver brings me from any Batam ferry terminal (airport too) to the hotel and then end of my trip,they brings me back to the same terminal again.

Total cost 25k each way...hehehe...and i am almost definitely safe and sound,no need to worry at all.

Taxi drivers were like wolves in Batam,but they are also the most resourceful people. How to tap their knowledge w/o getting chop by them is another story altogether. Hence i always advise bros who knew me to bargain down...and get used to those bargaining culture. And always have alternative/s,in case of an all else fail situation.

Newbies or 1st timer were often advised to take taxi/ojek ONLY from ferry terminal to Hotel and then back,the rest just try their best to walk. I started that way too,so that i dont get a chance to be held ransom by these unreliable people (taxi drivers).

In Batam, Bluebird cabs are banned from picking up passengers in all ferry terminals, shopping malls and other establishments. Don't ask me why, it's just how the local taxi mafia operate and even a major operator like Bluebird has got to comply. If you call for a Bluebird to pick u up at Harborbay, you will need to walk out of the Harborbay complex entrance, which is about 5-7mins walk from the ferry terminal.

Silvercab taxi is the only metered taxi operator that is allowed to pick up passengers from anywhere and everywhere. You will need to have a local number though. Silvercab hotline is 0778-461-000.

New Spa and Atalanta are nowhere close to each other; they are 15mins away by taxi. Octopuss Spa (in Pacific Hotel) is the one that is literally next to Atalanta Spa.

After the demise of New Berry, ST are now done at nearby local hotel, no more in the joint itself.

ST at Sri Kandi will cost 600k before nego, to be fine at HMI Hotel diagonally opposite.

ST at Happy8 will cost 400k with young ones. Done at Istana Hotel (think so, need to confirm the name, is the one at the corner of the road beside Happy 8.) I did No** (no, not NoNo) there and, the room, even they pay me, I also won't stay there.

But, one good thing about this arrangement is that chance are that you get a room with warm water facility. For ST done at joint, you shower with cold water from a pail. With the air con on, don't think you will like that.

For ST (only for ST), you can consider some Morena joints. I've only done girls from Princess Salon (they are part of Morena chain), the okt will bring you to their nearby joint that comes with proper Queen-size bed and shower facility. For 400k ST, this is not bad. Twice I did girls​ from Princess after I checked out from hotel, told the okt so, and he just say no problem and bring me to another joint that's pub with billiard table on level and cannon room on level 2. No extra charge. I'm not encouraging you guys to patronize Morena joints, in fact, don't book the girls for overnight unless you had prior experience with her.
