Haha me too . My 2nd visit to batam stayed at formosa thinking of changing hotel . Formosa getting expensive.. my first trip is solo . 2nd should be solo again .. just ser and follow all the senior brothers guidelines

I have by far not name anyone who joined me in any of my Newbie and/or other group trips in any way that they would easily be identified in the public unless i have their permission to do so. I am glad to see many newbies who are now independently cheonging Batam on their own,even tho i still have to say,not everyone is suitable for Batam. Being rich (or not) or able-to-afford (or not) in any way do not means i have to pay a higher price for something i can pay for at a lower price. Anyone could splurge or stinge on anything they feel worthy or not worthy of becos everyone play differently (eg,i can splurge on hotel rooms and stinge on girls,and it can be vice-versa for others).

BUT,it is ultra easy to pay a million dollar for an apple,but it wont be easy when one choose to pay a dollar for the similar apple most others paid half a million dollar for.

With this earliest trip and ending of sindo oldman discount in Nov..

Try buy from Qoo10 or even Carousell?

Just type in ferry and there are quite few sellers, price is around SGD 35-38 range Sindo, Batamfast, Majestic. It stated that the price is inclusive of all taxes.
Too bad never see Horizon.

In carousel, you can get Sindo or Majestic at about $33.

No need to depend on old man discount, bro BFOMF5. Majestic ferry tickets (Sindo as well) can be bought in Batam for 290k rupiah at many money changers.

I usually buy mine from the money changers at BCS Mall.

The Sindo NTUC discount most likely will extend again coming to Dec 2016....extend in 2017...feedback from some of my kawan.
