I've booked for ART test on May 5 at one of the Healthway Medical clinic as i don't know is test result via Remote Supervised ART accepted or not, better play safe, anyway not much different in cost.
Any idea is it same for taking flight to Indonesia?

Doesn't make any difference to me as I am now in Melbourne and will be flying down to Singapore on Saturday before leaving for Batam the following Friday. I'm hoping Indonesia follows Singapore and Thailand and drops all PDT requirements in the next few days. If not, it's PCR test for me 48hrs before I board the ferry.

I hope so. Waiting for they lift PDT and compulsory insurance. Almost near 60$ die here. Already ferry cost increase by 30$. Most of Indonesian still not vaccinated so them govt scared.

Because of the PDT requirement, i must buy the ferry ticket in advance, to eliminate the risk of ticket void if tested positive, paid extra $16, total $96 for ferry ticket alone. Another $37 paid on travel insurance to Income. Not yet leave Singapore already spend $170 ($30+ on ART test). If no PDT, i can book for ferry on the day of departure ( ferry highly unlikely to be full on weekdays). Now can't just buy one way ticket also open ticket for return ferry not allowed. Sindo also not allowed to change the date if don't pay extra $8 for each way ticket. Traveling now is costly , but at least can travel. Who know how long the borders will remain open ? If another Covid variant emerge, border closure can happen overnight. So better to grab the chance, pay more and go to enjoy. Especially those who are over 50 who do not have much more good years to enjoy.

I don't know about this, so i've book for Sindo Ferry, end up paying more for ferry and ART.
Planning to go Batam in Jun. The last time I went was in Mar 2019 before covid. I went from Tanah Merah to HarbourBay. I stayed at Planet Holiday Hotel & Residence which was near to the ferry terminal. I used wechat to hook up WLs. Also went to the (dead) NED and Harmoni Hotel area. Anyway, I guess I was in the wrong zone. Not much happening.
Any bros got better recommendations where to stay now, with better access to all the action, whatever is available? Thanks.

Haha. Not only you bro. Almos we all before COVID. Normally my Hunting forest is FB but of course you must search too much time in this ground but sure you can find very good quality more then booking joint or wechat but it's not easy. Now some jems waiting for me in FB. I just need go there.
