Ok, I will book Liberty Central Hotel. It looks really great and is conveniently located.

Previously two trips to HCMC (yrs ago), the 4 or 5 star hotels would ask you to pay for another room if you were to try to bring in a girl. I guess there is so much competition now that they have relaxed the rule.

It's good to know. I am not young anymore and prefer to travel in comfort and stay in nice rooms and even better if able to bring in my own bed warmer.

Not really a rule here about not sharing. It's more of a rule for some here, while others disagree. Tom gave one side of the argument. (even he does a good bit of sharing good intel!) I think the ones who share more openly are just a bit quiet right now. I tend to be on the opposite side, pro-sharing. But there still are spots in this town that are best shared via PM only. I think if you go back to about September and read forward you will find a wealth of info that has been shared.

I actually find the term "spoonfeeding" to be offensive. It implies that people who come here new are akin to little helpless babies who are completely dependent on their mommies to take care of them, in other words it belittles new people here. It's an emasculating term, like calling a man a faggot or a girl. In fact, it is not unmanly to have never visited Saigon before, nor to ask questions about it. I think there is a bit of a stupid macho ethic at play (amongst some here) that asking a question is not what a real man does.

Your point about the websites being reported 2 years ago is not too pertinent. Should we expect some guy coming here for a weekend for the first time to go back 2 years reading through all the stuff in this fascinating forum? Without subtopics, this thread just rolls and rolls, so info has to keep appearing or it is gone forever. When I posted my stuff about those websites, I was totally unaware that there was anything about those sites in here a couple years ago, or at any time previously. I found out about the websites a year ago (from none other than YOU in the other forum) and learned what I wrote in my posts mainly through my own experience.

Anyway, what I consider the most valuable type of "sharing" is the useful kind: someone can read it and then go out and find the girls and get laid. You seem to disagree and think there's another kind of post that is of more value. Fair enough. A good example of my kind of sharing is my set of posts from around Oct 25, where I wrote a how-to about the website girls. Some long detailed posts in that series, and anyone who reads it should be set to go meet those girls. You did some great posts about a month ago on the types and pricing of massage/hot toc places around town. I can see how the type of sharing I've done is less valuable to you personally since you already have a lot of experience with the website girls, you know how to find them and how to do it. I would guess that my type of sharing is something a large segment of guys coming here would find useful though.

It would be interesting if some here could go have a look at those posts I mention and say if they think those are good "sharing". Not to say "mine is better than yours" cuz your massage posts were classic. Seriously.

I also would be curious to hear what you yourself think is the best type of sharing. I won't speculate. Your turn.

just gonna share about my first day in Saigon after arriving yesterday. first time in HCM.

took a cab from airport to hotel, Cap Town hotel.
after alighting from cab, straight away saw that the hotel flanked by 2 massage/salon (i believe they are called hot toc) on the left and right. fair white bosomy girls all sitting outside, wearing very revealing outfits.

anyway, checked in and then walked around the neighborhood and enjoyed a cup of local coffee. then took a cab to minh tam 2 as described in many previous posts.

the place was normal, a little cramped and run down compared to some JB spa. nevertheless, went in took a shower. and then waited for turn to get a room for massage. girl came and gave quite an alright massage. tried to have a conversation but all she could speak was "no english" and "where are you from". after a not-too-bad back massage, she asked to turn to my front and "massage baby ok". said ok, and she jerked me off with some skill. requested to touch her boobs, and all she allowed was to go in from under her shirt and grab on to the boobs; specifically told me not to touch/play with her nipples. so anyway, volcano erupted and she cleaned up. came back and continued to give me massage from shoulder, head to feet. then 5mins before session end, gave me a slip to write the amount of tips. feigned that i didn't understood, so she wrote that tips: 300k, 400k, 500k; up to me. wrote 400k on the slip. however at the counter outside when paying, my bill was 620k, same price as my other friends who wrote 300k as tips. initially, not really sure how they calculate their stuff. only after the matter then realized that they charged all of us 400k tips. anyway, paid and left the joint.

dinner at random restaurant, then went back hotel.

went to Barocco club/disco in the night, recommended by the massage girl my other friend had. completely local disco. opened a Chivas. i think because we were the only 'foreigners' around in the club, the floor managers gave "extra attention" to us. everyone from the managers to the security to the waiters treated us with such overwhelming friendly hospitality, it kinda felt uncomfortable for a bit. hung around us and chatted, helped us get whichever working girls we chose to sit with us and played drinking games. they did not butterfly and most are pretty with slim hourglass figure. to summarize the club, most locals are there in groups. even local men who go there already have their own outside girl they bring. which means the whole night didn't manage to hookup or whatever except my friends who chose a few of the disco working girls. total bill came to 4.1 million, includes the Chivas, a huge bowl of watermelon which i ordered, and miscellaneous stuff like water, mixer, tissue paper. tips for the ladies was 10usd, but my friend end up paying 200k to each girl.

anyway, one of the floor managers spoke cantonese, so we befriended him and he told us to call him the next day and he's gonna bring us to some other places to have fun. based on what he said, one was straight up ST, the other is to "drink beer with naked lady company" his words not mine, and just give tips. end up today when we met the floor manager, found out that the beer+naked ladies is local KTV like joint. to prevent us getting chopped and possibility of being scammed, we told him we not interested in KTV as sg also have. then he said he could call up and book some girls for us to ST, but turned that down too as the girls are individually located at different places and we didn't wanna split up.

gonna rest up now and prep to tonight, maybe go explore the bars of Hai Ba Trung.

As first timers...go bui vien ..likely u will find st or lt.

Go to areas near bitxeco and prep to pay upwards of 3m for even st.

USD10 is somehow equal to VND200k
Skip Hai Ba Trung, some bar is you pay USD40, you can have free flow.
Place where high chances for pickup is Apocalypse if you still going HBT area.
Sit down, order a btl of whisky....soon you will be contacted.

If you are at HBT and hungry, try the local hotpot. There is one shop at the junction of HBT & Le Thanh Ton. You will see many people sitting on small table & stool eating. The more late it goes, the more people eating there.
Seafood hotpot about VND120K-140K, good enough for 4 person.
Must try the White Clam Pot, the soup is nice and sweet.
Not to worry, the Order guy speak some English.

Bui Vien is the place you should try. It totally wild at night. You may strike some ang moh if skill enough.
If daring enough..venture to Dist 5, massage shop along the Tran Hung Dao Street.

Point of note, always lock all your valuable in safe if you pickup girl from street.

U can YouTube it..essentially there r gangs that work together to kc u a little while..but has someone else pickpocket u.

First of all. Let me explain. This is last minute trip. I will be flying off in another 2 hours hence I really not able to read all the post. I am going alone and going to stay at Ben Thanh area till Monday. I am alone and first trip. So would like to know where is the night place suitable for me. No ktv. Places where could pick up girl.

Wow... All that advice. Thankfully, did not go to hai ba trung at all.

While I was sleeping in the afternoon, both me mates went for a hot toc massage, facial, hair wash by the skimpy outfit ladies I mentioned, who flanked the hotel. The massage n services were clean but both of them hooked up with the masseuse who served them, for activity at night. And by activity, one went for dinner and movie; the other was with me while waiting for the lady to end work n we went to nearby sky chillbar to have a look. Had a drink, didn't like the atmosphere, so left.

Went down and into nearby Catwalk.

Had another drink there, place was almost empty except for two tables when we arrived, bout 11+. Almost adviced my friend to leave but decided to stay n have one drink first. Soon, a group of ~40 ladies walked past us, and went into another area upstairs for guests to choose. Decided to stay on longer, played a round of pool to kill time. Subsequently, went into the next area where it was an open karaoke lounge, friend wanted to sing, so we settled in. While friend was singing, I started chatting with one of the waitress serving us. Rest of the night ended up with my friend playing dice with a fellow older sg business man who's been in Vietnam for 10+ years, together with the manager n mummy and some of the waitresses. The place was quite empty except for us, there was a group of sg uncles also drinking n singing earlier on, but left past midnight. We also rotated to sing some songs here there. Night ended with us n the businessman, bringing his girl n 2 waitresses out for supper. No action as my friend drank too much, and we both were too tired to do anything at 4+am. But... The waitress I was flirting with told me she's having an off day today, and wants to watch a movie with me (I didn't ask for it). So now.... Waiting for things to happen

Unfortunately, woke up to a 4x diarrhea this morning, must be the oyster congee last night that wasn't fresh.

I believe you. That part of Bui Vien where the BBQ's are has all the working girl bars, so it seems natural they would spread to other spots nearby.
