Back when they were by the airport, I did try the one called Lan Y on Cuu Long. But you're right, I didn't get to know the mamasan so well that they contacted me when they moved. Actually I had no real relationship with the mamasan at all. It was just the girls there when I went in, as far as I could see. Before that visit I did go there once and did not see one I wanted to go with. The one in the hem I stopped in a couple times, and was frustrated. Basically they all stood on the stairs and I didn't see one I felt the desire to go with. Actually there were some that looked hotter who appeared briefly and then disappeared upstairs somewhere, one or 2 floors up. Hi brother, I would thank you for the clarification that you have made above about HCM. It does gives insights to how hard we might be able to find some fun over there. In fact in this forum even for other countries, not many are also willing to share the locations for the fun they have. It seems like sharing isn't really a huge thing in this forums and it requires some form of exchange (like I share my goodies and you will do so) to avoid newbies disrupting their fun locations. We talked about that one -- you have to SMS the girl and let her know you must go to another hotel, if that's possible. Otherwise go back and get your passport. Annoying, I know. These are the kinds of obstacles that you get with the cheap price.

He is booked at a hotel and they have kept his passport, so when he goes to a D8 hotel and they require his passport, of course he can't give it because his other hotel is holding it. This is the second time someone has reported this particular problem. This has not happened to me before, and I don't stay in a hotel so I don't have that problem. I can take my passport if I need to.
But anyone have good ideas how to basically be able to get your passport back form your hotel somehow, so you can have it when you go out to D8 or LHP?
Think it's one of those chicken-and-duck-talk situation.
I have not tried it myself (as I am not into cheap fucks) but one could try photocopying his passport and showing it to the 2nd hotel recep with these words:
Chi hai tieng, duoc khong?
(pronounced ji hai ting, derk com)
Just two hours, okay?
Or 3 (ba) or 4 (bun) and so on...

I do not see why, when u dun speak Tien Viet yet show hand Viet? Later the recept asks another question, then both will be looking at each other like a fool.
BTW again, I do not understand what is the difficulty of getting passport. I always take my passport from the hotel... for my banking. Nothing hard to do. Just tell the recept, I need the passport for a day n bingo passport on my hand.

It is certainly stupid to tell a beginner to try speak tieng viet to local vietnamese. When tourist try to pronounce what is written, it will sound different and it will not be understood by the local. Look to me someone want to flaunt his knowledge here more than want to help those beginner. The moral of the story is, if you do not understand their language, then dont act smart, speak english.
Same in Wechat hunting, vietnamese girls try hook foreign man using english, what is the point of writing tieng viet to them??? To impress them or to show you are a big idiot? There is one big idiot in this forum. Vietnamese girls who cannot speak english to hook foreign man will stay in local market to find customer.

I missed this one earlier. I hear what you are saying and I can accept that maybe it's true. I don't know. But let me say this. First time I went to the Tea place off Cuu Long, you were there so you knew the setup. You walk in that back door and there's a room in the back with a tv, a few girls sit in there watching, stairs before the room, spiral staircase. So they called the girls to come out, and the ones in the room stood up and a bunch appeared from upstairs, coming down the stairs - but there were some that looked much cuter about 2 flights up who just peered down over the railing and then disappeared. I remember one who looked pretty good was at top of the stairs just under that first floor and she edged away and disappeared. So this can't be me being labeled as a tire-kicker cuz it's my first time there. I got annoyed with the way they did that and gave up, and left. So what you say could be true for my next visit, but that first time that's what happened. Just curious, when you were there is that how they did the lineup? Most of them on the stairs? that was just a bad setup, it made it hard to see the girls, cuz there wasn't enough space for all of them to show up. HBT bars used to do lineups decently, the girls would spread out in a row, and you could pick, and there were times when you would see maybe one girl kind of try to hide behind another one, and so you just avoid picking that one cuz for one reason or another she seems to not want to go with you. (that would mainly happen in 91, where there were some girls who only wanted to go with Asians, who were most customers at that one, and bigger tippers, the expense account thing. Just remembered one incident I saw once.
