You can add points when your power is 0. Unfortunately, the laws of nature dictate that x + 0 = x so the recipient will see no change in his rep points.

If you want to abuse someone using all sorts of profanities via the reputation system remarks feature, you MUST reveal your nick when doing so in order not to be penalised.

9. Those who use the reputation system to frame innocent parties will be exposed and placed under moderation.

10. Those caught registering multiple nicks in order to build up their "war chest" to abuse the system will be placed in moderation mode.

11. One reputation power is awarded for every 3000 rep points.

12. Reputation points can no longer be awarded/deducted in the following forum.
a) Newbie Issues/Say "Hi"/Testing section and
b) Soccer Talk Section

13. Posts more than 2 days old cannot be awarded or deducted. There used to be no such limit.

Hi guys i have a question. From what i know, power becomes 1 when reputation is above 40. However, i have a total of 133 rep points but my power is still 0. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Why is it possible to anonymously zap? I'm getting zapped by assholes who refuse to leave their nicks so I can zap them back. The reason they claim to be zapping me is because I welcome others to post in my random pics thread.

almost everyone gets some undeserved negged .. even mods are not spared.. on the flipside.. most people get some undeserved up too

the only way to be immune is to get the premium membership.. u get many other benefits too

Bro, check my thread. I have posted lots of quality pics, welcoming others to post also. My reputation is lower than when I started. What the fuck? If assholes who have a vendetta against a certain member are taking it out on me, why should I waste the time. You say it shouldn't be a war zone, but if cowardly fucks can do this and I have no recourse, why bother? Is that what you want? For people to decide it's a waste of their time to post pics because they will get zapped more than upped? If you would take away this stupid system where cowards can zap anonymously, they would stop zapping for fear of getting zapped back. Fix this stupid system. Let me zap the cowardly fucks back for taking their childish vendetta out on me. All I care about is that people enjoy the thread. If no one appreciates it why do it?

however you have to understand not everyone thinks the same...
while some appreciate your work and have upped you.. ..there will be others who might think otherwise for whatever reason..
one of the reason i could think of is that they might have felt you have infringed copyrights by posting pictures from other webby...
hence they negged you.. e.g this one which u posted.. it says all rights reserved etc...

talking about grievance...i have got people accusing me of zapping them when i didnt do it..
and i have open up PM of insults/abuse to me and my family for i dont even know the reason why..
i have also upped almost 1800 nicks in the past week and received very little " thank you " note and 0 points in return..
if i am going to dwell on such incite.. i would have end up having an heart attack a long time ago...

i also do not need to remind you that what gives those zappers most satisfaction isnt about the fact that they zapped u...
believe me....it is when they see u go bonkers after being zapped.. that is what they enjoyed most..

Bro, thanks for your post. I appreciate it. If someone has a genuine grievance against me and they zap me, so be it. That's their right, I suppose. For example, if they zapped me for the reason you mention, fine. If they have balls they should leave their nicks so I can either accept their zap or not. However, the reasons are clearly a vendetta against another member. It's petty for them to zap me for that. I have no interest in teenage girl drama and no interest in being dragged into that childish shit. These losers clearly have no balls or they would have left their nicks. I think if every points awarded were not anonymous, there would be less zapping. SBF would be better for it. Thanks again for your words of encouragement and also for your upz. Upz you back, if I didn't already.

When I first started the rep system, everyone could see who zapped them. It was chaos and all out war used to break out and there a few cases that even spilled out into the real world.

I changed the system so that rep votes were anonymous just like they are in the GE. This allows members to show their displeasure with a zap without having to worry about retaliation.

Since the system was changed, things have been a lot more civilized with only an occasional cases of members like yourself kicking up a fuss.

Boss, a suggestion: sell another form of membership that reveals zappers' nicks. I'm pretty sure there is demand for them.
