Oh Dear!
Looks like the rains are going to get worse.

So when would be a good time to visit?

Thanks in advance

Just came back yesterday. Raining everyday but short rain with light wind. Once rain stops, better to put on your shades.

1) 35k was everything less flight and accom.
35k was Grab fare, Globe Sim Cards plus some gambling at the casino. Reckon i spent ard 7k pesos at the casino. Good enough to pass time.

2) EWRs (barfines) were 3k on average per girl. HiSo pickups were cheaper, 3k for 2 gals. One girl from HiSo got 2k from me. She was a solid 7.5 in my books and had a nice ass. Squandered the rest of my money on drinks and LDs in the bar. I don't make it rain inside but it wont be uncommon for me to have a few dancers/waitress at my table. Excluding barfines, i pay ard 2-3k at the bar per visit per bar.

I dun mind 3somes but i dun actively look for it. If it happens, why not. And also meals with the girls can be ard 2k on average as well including tips for the waitress.

A 70k budget is definitely excessive. On all my previous trips, i spend on average about 30k.

Still waiting for my chance to have a sex party in my room so another trip is definitely on the cards. YOLO

Thanks. I read up the forum quite a bit to help manage some expectations. Even though i have been to AC like 5 times, every trip has something different for me.

As long as you enjoyed .. no sweat.

Plus I have gone free and spent 10,000 on my drinks and normal price drink for the bar staff in a bar in Makati.. Blue Label and this and that.

👍👍

In my experience, and since I am living in North Luzon for an extended stay, no time is good time.

It just takes a couple of days for a tropical storm to form and screw up all plans. Including the last month mild storm that ended up flooding the NLEX and SCTEX and parts of Manila... Loads of cars flooded. And 2 days later, LBC delivery on target for next day delivery. That's Philippines. People shrug off the drama and get back to business like nothing happened, including rebuilding the storm destroyed houses, on the same damn place ...

Being next to the Pacific ocean doesn't help.

Just keep a portable poncho, or umbrella. And have a longer stay so 3 days or rain don't screw up your mood.

From Wikipedia.

Typhoons can hit the Philippines any time of year, with the months of June to September being the most active, with August being the most active individual month and May the least active. Typhoons move east to west across the country, heading north as they go. Storms most frequently make landfall on the islands of Eastern Visayas, Bicol region, and northern Luzon whereas the southern island and region of Mindanao is largely free of typhoons.

Really best time to avoid typhoon is Jan to May of each year...after that god knows...

Thanks for details. While prices have gone up, peso is weak so that helps moderate the increase Might make a trip after typhoon season; been a long time and the itch is returning, especially after reading your report

Yup..on my first trip,it was 1sgd = 37 pesos.
My recent trip was 39pesos.

I changed in Singapore. Over in AC,i got between 38.2 to 38.7
I usually change at the money changer in front of Grand Central Hotel. Didnt see the need to walk down Perimeter to Norma's money changer.

Have fun

Re: NEW ANGELES CITY (Pampanga, Balibago, Subic and anywhere else in PI)

Back to non stop rain again ...

Tropical Storm “Karding” has slightly slowed down while it changed its course, the state weather bureau said midday Thursday.

The storm is now moving northwestward at a pace of 10 kilometers per hour, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

Karding was last monitored 1,200 kilometers east of Basco, Batanes, maintaining the same strength and speed of 65 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 80 kph.

While it’s not expected to make landfall, Karding and a low pressure area spotted west of Northern Luzon may boost the southwest monsoon and will bring scattered to widespread moderate to heavy rains over Northern and Central Luzon, especially over the western section, beginning Friday.
