As somebody mentioned, best is carry SGD and change there. WU the rates are bad ... so is the transfer fees. Maybank ATM rates not as good as money changer. Nearest Maybank ATM that i know of is in the Clark airport but i dunno if its still there. Previously i used Citibank (free withdrawals + good rates) but now Citibank bought over by BDO bank so no more free withdrawals.

So goes back to bringing cash. If you feel not so safe bringing in cash just have to use your ATM card and get charged withdrawal fee + bank rates.

As stated, paying hotel charges will not incur admin charges cos there are sufficient margins of profit.

Admin charges levied for card usage usually occur in small retail shops where profits are so low that it cannot cover the card commission payable by the dealer. Or under special circumstances where its stated before hand that card payments will incur charges.

Inversely, hotels do give a discount for cash payment. LPPL.

Back after 4 nights trip from May 8 - 12. We ( 8 bros ) were lucky as no unforseen incident happened. All bars we went in accept barfined, including DHG. Only Voodoo & Monsoon, mamasan wants us to deal directly with girls, didnt have any take-out from here, but girls in these 2 bars offer standard rate, from Php 2000-Php25000.
Bros has barfine taken at....Tropix, DollHouse, Angel Witch, Crystal Palace, Pontail, TuneTime, Nemenis, Centauro, BodyShop, Camelot, Gbar, Red, Qbar, Las Vegas, range frpm Php 2000 - Php 3000. One bro took a 20 yo bj girl from Raymond ,ST Php800 now. Seems that RS is backed to buisness now.
Best found girls, not in particular order.....a P2000 19yo GFE from PonyTail, stayed after breakfast, a P2600 model (will turn P3000 next week), also stayed till next day noon, a P3000 36C dancer from CP, she can really drink ! and a P3000 34yo moaner from DH.

Just back from a 6d5n trip from AC. Here are my summary for the trip.

Pros:
Everything was about the same, there will be people raining peso/ringing the bells in the bars, people drinking and sitting alone. People walking up & down field/walking street.

Personally i don't feel there is any threat at all, but i have to agree with a senior that i met there told me this: "chance of getting arrested are very low but what if you are the unlucky one, are you able to swallow the penalty" ?

Prices in the regular bars that i always visited are still the same as compared to my march trip. (dollhouse, alantis, ponytail, icebar, orange, girl generation and the bar of my love Midnight Rock :P)

Achievement from this trip:
4 FLs ST
1 Bargirl FL LT (After her barfine finished with a korean, Girl generation bar)
2 Bargirls ST (Orange bar waitress & Ice bar Girl)
Total = 7 pops

Out of 5 nights, 4 nights was sleeping alone. First 3 nights was accompanied by a young masseur from walking street, php 300 per hour CLEAN Massage. I called her every night for the first three nights between 2 to 4am when i am back from barhopping. I would on the love songs via the tv using my usb, she would sing along while massaging me. Every night she would talk/sing/massage me until i fall asleep and went back on her own.

By then, i am the famous devera midnight guy in her working place. I am supposed to bring her for a dinner at a rooftop restaurant and then chill out at r&b during her off day on the 12 May, but i was tied down by other girls. Her manager even texted me to remind me that she is waiting for my text but it was already too late when i had settled the girl on my end.

Cons:
First time catching a movie at SM Mall, per 3D ticket cost php 450 (SGD 13.00) . 450 seats theater with less than 10 people watching, including myself and other 2 girls. Big curve screen but the design of the theater room and seats kinda sux.

Had a Php 6,000 "VIP" table on the 11 of May 2014 at ABC Hotel for the Pool party event. The location of our table is at the back of the stage, infront of the restaurant. Basically the table are for sitting purposes only, nothing else.
If you go to ABC hotel FB Page, the pictures are all taken at the other side of the pool where the actions are. The table on that side cost php 40,000 according to one of my American friend who i met in the plane back to Singapore yesterday. As the minority Asian there, we do not feel welcomed as the waiters & waitress are neglecting us. At first the waiter told us the buffet behind us are free because of our table, so my friend went ahead to grab a bite. Who knows just when my friend was about to sit down, the waitress rushed over and grabbed back the plate and says " It is not free, you have to pay php 500 or 600 (i can't really remember) per head for it". So at this point of time we are already kinda fed up as it was told my the waiter earlier told us another story. Hence, we confront the waiter earlier and he apologize for the mistake and told us the food will be served to us by the waiter directly from the kitchen. After awhile a small plate of 3-5 cheesy meat balls and few slices of beef was served to us, we finished in 2 rounds. It was the only serving. There are 2 kinds of admission, Vip & General. With our VIP table, what we got was General ticket admission. If i were to go back again, i will definitely just buy the Vip ticket as their table concept are bullshit.

I am a newbie to AC, was there with Bro Koh. Hope bros here dun get into this situation like us, being played by the FUCKING Organizers. B4 booking foods and drinks included, when the party start, its another story. Organizer made us pay to be blood fool, they r doing filming in the VIP area for a competition of some sort,which thus not interest me at all. The VIP area and general admission r separated by doors and a wall dividing the pool into 2, on top of the wall (act as a bridge to cross over the other side of the swimming pool) r 2 roll of tables, chairs and a bars counter. Many gals fm bars r invited there, but can only crowd on the wall watching the competition. Compere emphasis alot on the filming, alway ask those gals in the pool to give way to the filming crew. We r not paying to enjoy in a Pool Party, we r paying to sit in as audience in a Fucking Product Advertising Filming of Pool Party. KNN WTF Organizer. Hope in future no bros get con into it again. And no comments fm me for the rest of enjoyable days we stay in AC of bars hopping, bonking and massage.
And 1 last thing , reminder to all smoking bros, pls keep ur lighter in ur check in luggage, if u still want it, dun give them a chance to search ur hand carry, even u dun want the lighter throw it away b4 u enter the airport building. Thks to all reading my short fr in AC.

very few cards charge extra, especially those Pre Paid cards charge additional 2%

all other cards, like Ziebart says, don't charge extra ...

and for ATM withdrawal, even local ATM cards get charged 200 peso per withdrawal if you use other bank ATM ... so as a foreigner 200 peso plus a 5$ charge, maybe cheaper and safer at times.

but ... of late in Philippines some of the discrimination is obvious .. like LA cafe second floor girls ignore everyone except jap/Korean, and sitting in Greenbelt I saw girls avoiding sub continent looking guys, even decent looking and posh English ... why is a taboo subject anyway..... especially obvious now since India is exporting cars to Philippines .... and a Trove of businessman have descended in Manila.... and some bank moved the support / development to Manila with India engineers ...
