It's opposite the entrance near the Best Fried Chicken.

Nice rooms but no lift.

outside taxi fare :
1 ) from harbour bay to the above 4 hotels is quite standard rp40k to rp50k
2 ) hotel to pacific food court about rp30k to rp40k
3 ) hotel to Nagoya Hill shopping mall - about rp30k to rp50k
4 ) Harbour Bay mall shopping - if you are staying at Novotel probably just walk there maybe 5 min...can see from the hotel...if from the other 3 hotels...maybe rp20k to rp30k

I will be going down to batam during the good friday week.
be bringing a friend along as he has never went to batam before.

I know that in batam, better hotels are pacific, novotel, I-hotel, panorama regency, planet hotel etc.

Got any recommendations for hotel around nagoya there other than the better hotels i know?

My friend dont want spend too much on hotel, rather on bonking and eating...
i know the hotels should between minimum 50sgd and above for one night.

Hi, i just come back from batam. Formasa hotel not bad. One night is around 370000 rupiah and nearby got quite a lot of food to eat. It is also near Nagoya. Best is take ferry to Harbour Bay Batam.

There is risk, BUT not always, that raid by local police in smaller hotels to check out the unmarried people staying together....so bonking session is one of these the police is surely happy to have.....ending result can imagine.....

a more expensive hotel can sleep well as police don't raid anyhow they like...possible of the "connection at the top"...

few very cheap budget hotels that are not worth trying as advised by a local friend are....hotel DjuDju, Cityview, Istana....understood from him that these hotels are very prompt to raid by the police probably due to the "internal informer" in hotel working together with the police to earn extra bucks.....

enjoy your trip.....anyway if I am around during GF....and of cos if I don't disrupt your trip schedule and if your wish we can meet up for a beer or two....

Dun wait till you master ur Melayu then RTF, U should RTF her more often, that way U will master ur melayu faster along the way. Only problem is you only learn those "indoor" words, so bring her jalan2 and then U will pick up those "outdoor" words.
