Manage to took pics of the interior of the hotel.


This hotel have a very unique bottle of mineral water. When my gal and i check in, we tot the hotel so good have vodka, but see clearly..it was mineral water.

This hotel is quite new too. In the night, the external of the hotel is very chio, a lot of nice lighting and also very crowded, weekend is more crowded.
Overall i think is just ok to stay with, will prefer to switch around to stay at different hotel for next trip and share different information.There are also many hotel within the surrounding of this area.

Price is worth it for this kind of hotel.

Bro, if u wanna have a romantic session at the movies, go try out Blitz Theatres at Harborbay Mall.

The cinemas there have couple seats aka love sofas at the back of the theatre, and it's only 35k per pax. Bring your cewek and u can cuddle up for some hanky-panky for just 70k..

The place is also not crowded, so it makes it easier if banging a chick in cinema is in your bucket list... Hahaha...

Only bad thing is that there is practically nothing else to do at Harborbay Mall.. Only a handful of shops are open, together with Metro Hypermart and some restaurants...

The ticket itself is Rp35k. I think weekday should be cheaper, maybe Rp25k. But the one in megamall is more expensive because is more higher end one. same company though.. but no-one goes to megamall anyway.

what i like is, their popcorn can mixed one. you can request to mix caramel popcorn with salted popcorn if u bought medium or big packet one. ticket plus drink and snack usually cost me around 70or80k.

btw, can check more details of movie liisting and timing at their wesbite.

It's difficult to find good western food unless from higher end hotel or resort. There's a good one at batu ampar, at bukit senyum. Goodies Restaurant. owned by ang moh, and their restaurant patron mostly also angmoh.. their westernn food is nice andn high quality but the location is really difficult to go.. you will need take cab and wont be cheap also.. but the view is nice since it's in the hill..

Speaking about Western foods (with Indo food available too), can try out bukit cinta. As the name suggest, is alfresco dining in top a mountain. Romantic too. Can't remember the price range.


However, I've noticed that when it comes to food, my experience is that, anything non indon is going to cost you an arm and a leg.. very high bill at Sarang Bang (Korean), Kazu (Jaoanese) and a western one at habourbay. Nice food though.

For bros that can't find sedona, sorry i can't really describe how to find it, as i actually stumble onto the location after wandering around the area for 30mins lo. You can try to read Bro Nono's previous posts. I rem he posted a really detailed guide to locating sedona.

Or if anyone can teach me how to upload picture, i can mark out the possible locations. Sorry i not very good at maps, you ask me walk there i rem how to walk there. But i can't really tell exact location based on maps.

Finally got some time to cheong to batam. Was actually planning to go this Friday, but see agoda every hotel also machiam fully book liao. Bad time to go sia.

Any bro know if i go say first week of july any impact due to Ramadan? It's not the first few days so will it back to normal?

I believe for a better option,you need to take a taxi from Batam Centre to NED (Nagoya Entertainment District). 50k taxi fare and you will be spoilt for choices when it comes to HC with Happy Ending. I don't know what other bros would advise you,but this is what i will do being a newbie in Batam.

Yea,i believe it is still happening. I have read about a number of cases of such in this thread and in other forums (& sites too).Most recent one is less than a year ago. The usual trick is one goes to KTV/disco,the girl one tries to hook up sits with you,when one is a bit tipsy or half-drunk,the girl slips in a pill in the target's pocket,and that was when the police steps in to do the body check.

After observing a handful of such cases,my summary from my reading on these cases are....

1. It ALWAYS happens in a discotheque or KTVs.

2. It ALWAYS happens when the victim is tipsy.

3. It ALWAYS happens with an FL (free lancer) around or a girl in the premises/scene.

4. The victim is ALWAYS a foreigner in Batam.

5. The girl is ALWAYS young and pretty.

6. The victim shows obvious signs of a well-to-do carrot and/or new to the scene.

Just my personal observation above,there could be more. Being a newbie myself,it's one of the reason why i refrain from FL.

Hi all experienced seniors of Batam,

Its been a while since I been to Batam and am planning to go over for a few days in July. With fasting month starting on 28 June, I am wondering how would be the night scene there ? Will the pubs (NoName, etc) and discos (Pacific, Newton) be opened, and importantly will the FLs still be coming out at night for us to tabao ?

Party Hat and Mask yes, at provision shop or Top100 should have. Seen it before somewhere.

Will try to bring 1 or 2 pieces of the light stick over to test out if it can be bring thru custom. The problem with light stick is that it's Liquid and it's chemical. I believe small quantity should be fine,but nonetheless i better double check again.

The only provision store i been to is the one behind Formosa,they confirm don't have the items i want. Harbour Mart at Harbour Bay jetty also do not have,Hypermart in Nagoya Hill Mall don't have too. I guess i will just have to venture out more and further in my trips...my bad here.

No lift??? Total how many floors are there in this hotel?

Everything from the picture of the hotel looks neat,can't help wondering why hotel of this class has no lift. Hope they have at least an escalator for people who stays 2nd floor and onward tho.

ANswer is yes. It is called maroon massage. In Nagoya, one of the old shop houses. Very discreet. Don't ask me for address. I am not sure. Found out during one of my hunts for new massage.

Needless to say, I took a view of the place, and what they offer, albums to view and was told all massage by guys ONLY.

Repeat. Dun ask for address. NAGOYA TOWN AREA. SHOP HOUSE. Not sure if they still in operation. THat was few years ago when I found out, while hunting for massage joints.

All of the entertainments like KTV, etc on other days will cut short and close early as well.

Massage and bonking joints will be opened for shorter hours as well. Some during the first couple of days also have "back doors", which allow you to go for massage and fun.

BE EXTRA CAREFUL DURING THIS PERIOD OF TIME.

1) Pick pockets, petty thief, POLICE look for money.
2) WL, FL, etc, all looking for money either to go back kampong or have their new year. Some don't go back, some will and for good.
3) A lot of beggers, asking for money... especially nearing the end.


After the Idu Fitri, things will start to normalise about 1 week after. More stocks will come.


And a whole new year again....Happy bonking

Gonna give romantic session at theatre a miss,bro...but hanky panky at the theatre looks tempting to me,hehehe...you just reminds me of my session at Sun Plaza's theatre in sillypore where i had my hanky panky in the couple seats. I believe i should take some time to venture this Harbour Bay Mall in my coming trip...i have always pass it by during my trips to Batam. Wow! Another mall...i am starting to think that Batam's every mall also have a theatre. Not a movie goer in sillypore,but who knows in Batam i may start using "watching movie" to kill of some time. Staying in Sillypore always no time and stress up at work,but in Batam suppose to rest & relax.

Hmm....may take some time to look into these western food restaurants tho. I also found out that tho some of the western food restaurants may be expensive,but the portion of food they provide are really HUGE to the extend that i cannot finish it all...lol.

Usually people compare food prices with Sillypore,but i rarely do that ...i compare it more with Malaysia for a fairer scale. If prices are equal or more expensive than in Sillypore,the food quality & atmosphere better be good.

This trip will want to see how Batam is like during Ramadan and if no girl i will just make a detour back to sillypore or worse still ...sleep over alone for the 1st time in Batam...lol

I am worried actually. 1st time in Batam during Ramadan and don't plan to look for FL,but from booking joint. Worse comes to worse,at least i am mentally prepared to sleep alone at my usual hotel,usual room.

Past experience, going during fasting month is actually ok. Most fish tanks will still open, but may have to enter via side door. Girls may be limited though since presumably ang pais might have made enough and left for kampong whereas lest hot ones will still stay around to squeeze last few drops of $$$ before Hari Raya. Eateries like coffee shop will still open but will be surrounded by clothe like macam banners so people outside can't see people inside eating. And of course, be respectful and try not to be too touchy when outside the hotel room. Can't recall if there is price increase like during cos the past 2 Ramadan I had was 5 years ago and during that time, I had my regular girl, so I just act blur and pay the normal rate that I usually pay. This year I'll be visiting a girl that has quitted the fish tank circuit, so the $$$ is now like 随意.

For rp 500,000 is quite cheap. Last time they have a good massage but i am not sure now. Octopuss also have full package without massage 1 hour include room between 600,000 to 800,000 (before tax n svc charge).
