Worker demonstration were planned nation wide in Indonesia from 28/10/13 to 1/11/13. Same here in Batam , Karimun and Tanjung Pinang.

Those going to batam , please use Harbour Bay terminal for safety reason.
Avoid Sekupang and Batam centre best possible. Thursday and Friday were planned in Batam but mostly in the Tanjung Uncang area...yesterday morning and today morning there's demo and "sweeping action" by the demonstrators.

Most industrial parks are in full alert but Nagoya Entertainment District will be no problem...so advisable to go by Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal .

I always bring condoms from sg to batam and batam back to sg. Don't see why cannot bring.
