"Mamamia" was exactly my thought when I saw her lined up mixed with all kinds of regular girls and old dinosaurus. Can't speak, dry throat, you know the symptoms. That's why I keep photos of my best meetings. Sometimes I look, and memory comes back.
Formosa regular "deluxe" room! Only 60 SGD, but large as a suite.
Went to HH Club yesterday nite with magixskin, Komagian, maddog_mlvn, tigerl74, johnkhb and 2 others maddog_mlvn's friend.
Nice KTV room, sound system also good. Easy to select song.

Brought my new gf and her friends to the ktv, send them back then brought OC to the same KTV room . Timing zhun zhun, all as planned. Earlier or late on timing will be BIG headache for me
Komagian picked a very Chio PR, i rate at 9/10 for indo cewek.

After KTV session, went to Dance Hall,
terrible pack and dark, over crowded. Even hard to walk.
Walk one round faster left. Any corner caught fire, that's it liao.
Left HH club and proceeds to Pacific.
Pacific also crowded but just nice.
Overall a enjoyable nite for me

stayed in those room last week too...was impressive with the interior...
though some really minor defects like the rusty tap on bathtub...but was good overall...

Hahahahaha knew it used to be a regular at formosa a few years back before its renovation but when my member application keep rejected i change port dammnnn hotel gd location but front desk really bad attitude but the bell boy is quite a nice guy.my fav room actually always prebook the room before coming

Bro , I find it difficult to select song. All song in alphabet, old man dun know han yu ping ying. Monitor for the songs selection too small old man can't see sitting on the sofa. Projection too big all the words blurred and again old man can't see. Maybe room too big, I not use to it. I think bcos u speak and sing in bahasa Indo that y easy for u.
Costs for all things r on the high side.

Actually, the front desk people is one of the reasons (or the main reason) why I keep on going to Formosa. They are always smiling, happy to help... I feel like at home there.
I find that the staff of higher class hotels like Harmoni, on the contrary, is rather cold and impersonal.
PS: It's nice to wake up in the morning, check SB, and see I've been detracted 3+4 more points, one with the explanation "Nice info. up u", the other with "Thank you"...

The AC is NOT getting better. Controls I, II, III at bed side do not work well in all rooms. The cooling power is not adequate and sometimes we feel sweaty in the night.
No blackouts in my experience.
The "skinny" chinese lady you say?? She's getting wider every time I go there! But her smile is great. She always looks happy and her smile is a warm welcome to me. She got married just one year ago, by the way.

Do you? I guess the majority of contributors to this forum don't.
Ok, summary of my reasons to stay at Formosa:
- rooms are larger than in most hotels
- the bed is large enough to welcome 3 people comfortably (this is very important to me! )
- all staff is very friendly (at least to me....)
- also cleaning service never lets me down: if my bed is dirty at 7pm and I want they change the sheets and clean up the mess quickly, so that I am ready for next guests without they suspect I am a serial fu*ker, they do it quickly and perfectly (I leave a small tip to the boys)
- I can leave stuff or even loose money on the table without worry (nothing was ever stolen in 4 years, 15 times I went there)
- customers are Singaporeans (mainly cheongsters, I assume), Indonesians (mainly on business), and Malay (mixed) and I do not see drunken noisy bule at night
Considered that the room price (about 60SGD) is much less than in "luxury" hotels, I prefer to stay at this haven rather then opting for top hotels.
