Try Spa Secret (besides The Hills Hotel, formly known as Puri Gardens), and Isabella at Nagoya Hill Mall. Both are female friendly, clean and not hanky panky place. Jacuzzi wise, very highly not available in town.

Harmoni - There was a big fire in this hotel sometime in 2004~2005. And there was 4~5 fatalities. 1 cewek from Queen, and the others males w/o mention of nationality. Most likely Singaporeans. This hotel was a favourite hotel with Singapore bookies DURING THAT TIME cos they're able to receive Singtel signal at the swimming pool area.

Hotel 89 - A couple of year back, a middle-aged Singaporean man was stabbed 24 times in his room.

Not trying to discourage you to staying there. Just stating the facts.

Hahaha, Harmoni was my first project in Batam. Still remember the fire. Was damn sian all my effort goes up in flames. Hahaha.

WAAA,very scary le bruturd.Anyway,i have settle down on Goodway Hotel in nogoya and Holiday Inn Resort at waterfront.

See the good way superior super save room already very good with jacuzzi bathtub and most important of all,in room safe.Still can't get over bring stranger to my room without safe and most important,it has enough room for my friends that are joining me.

If got chance,i will try the president suite! Anyway bruturds try before?Can give some pointer?

Harmoni is an very conveniently located for those who like to go pubbing, and pub hopping. In addition to No-Name, just behind the road is where most of the pubs are, including Steps, Ice, Twins, etc....

Nevertheless, it is an old hotel and the furniture is a little old. It has in-room safe. The room rates are still higher, but I guess its because of the location. I do stay there when my plan for the night is pubbing. I pay about S$200 for a junior suite (i like bigger space).

Pacific Palace is good especially for those that wants to go Pacific disco. You get free entry being a inhouse guest there. The room is nice, well maintained and clean. Price reasonable. It also has in-room safe.

In my opinion, iHotel is definitely the best. However, it is probably one of the more expensive hotel in Batam. The room is new, modern, nice and well maintained. It also has in-room safe.

The other hotel to consider is Melia Panorama Hotel......

Stayed in Goodway before. Some of its rooms are pretty worn down.
