I'm in Batam in early July, bar-hopping in NED, eating everywhere, and maybe some jetski etc.

Do any ferries alight at Harbour Bay near Nagoya? I can find ferries only to Harbour Bay in Sekupang and Batam Centre. I ask because the taxi ride is long and boring (nothing to see) and my hotel will be in Nagoya.

Nope. It's near BCS at Penuin area.

For Nagoya Hill, you can try Lovina Inn. But this hotel is freaking popular for its location, price and relatively new. So you may need a week's adv booking if you're going on hot period.
