Cant access forum in China? anyone can advise?

Was in China for biz so tot our good old forum can provide info. But unfortuantely I cant access in China. seems to be block by the government. Anyone knows how to access in China? Pls advise as I'll be in china most of the time from now on.

Not necessary block by the government. From my experience when I was in Guangzhou last year, different hotels block different websites.

I suppose it depend on the ISP which the hotel use. I stay in a few hotels during the period and some website I can access in one hotel but not able to access in another hotel. Same goes with internet cafe.

Maybe you can try use this website to access the websites which were blocked -- https://proxify.com/

The Sammyboyforum website was blocked by the China government before the start of Olympic Games. You can access it thru any proxy servers. Just search online for "free proxy servers". There is a whole list of them.

One of the better ones that is fast and still can use many of the features of the forum is youhide.com. Just click the link below, it will bring you to this forum directly.

if u in china most o fthe time, then i suggest u download firefox as your browser, then install an add-on called gladder, which automatically directs this page thru a proxy every single time you log in.... i am using it everyday since i live in china.... any problems let me know.....

I can access this site from there using IE. Maybe try using Google Chrome. Quite fast too
