1. Your spouse might be the who requires you to take care of her when you are old
2. Your spouse might be a living hell to live with before you die.
3. Your might not have children
4. Your children might not be able or willing to take care of you.

So marrying just to hope someone will take care of you when old is really not the best decision. It's a pretty selfish decision. Imagine you got a daughter and the reason why the man want to marry her is because he hope someone will take care of him... will you want your daughter to marry such person?
