balai girl + transport is cheaper and life is much simpler
but u have to give up
entertainment - only karaoke + disco in 1 hotel and no other bar except hotel
food - limited choice of fancy restaurant
hotel - for the same room quality u get better prices in batam, or for the same money better room
so it become how do you define fun?
more time to be with girl kinda fun - balai
more option for other entertainment - Batam
