Here's some suggestions for Luohu restaurants.

a. 海港酒家 at 佳宁娜广场 - good for 天下第一包(叉烧餐包)and a couple of other dishes. Premium priced.

b. 水煮鱼香 at 长安大厦 along 深南大道 - for what else? assuming your parents can take good chili. Should try their 鲟龙鱼水煮鱼 which is their signature dish. Mid-end pricing.

c. 陆港小镇 at 金碧酒店 opposite the old 天上人间. Taiwanese food which is always a hit for older folks. Mid-end pricing.

d. 唐宫 at 东门 which is good for dimsum. Mid-end pricing.

e. 潮江酒家 at 阳光酒店 for pretty decent teochew food and dim sum. Mid-high end pricing.

f. 江南厨子 at 万象城 which serves 杭州菜 and is currently offering June hairy crab which is very fragrant. Mid-high end pricing.

g. 胜记 along 红岭路 near 深南路 and next to 荔枝公园 which does seafood and guangdong cuisine. Specialty is the 啫啫 dishes which is basically vege or mushrooms or seafood scalded in a claypot and flavoured with prawn paste.

h. 中森名菜 along 深南路 near to 地王 which is a branch of Asia's largest Japanese restaurant. A good visit just to see the scale and for its very reasonably priced japanese food.

Hope your parents have a good time. Cheers.
