AV Rules in geylang - what are they?
 

Every once in a while, we will hear some people mention that some thing apparently is against AV rules.

So I am sure many of us are curious to know what some of these AV rules really? And what are the rules that apply to legal geylang prostitutes?

For example, one of them that is often cited is that WL cannot go out with customers, etc.

What other rules are there out there?

- WL must not wear too sexy be it inside or outside brother house (this is funny, we r nto living in muslim state or country and some other gal outside can wear as their liking as long as not exposing the private parts)
- No unprotected sex (oral, vagina, anus) (how many wl fulfil this criteria）
- Must accompanied by OKT when going out (how many wl fulfil this criteria）
- no gambling inside brother house (fail during cny)
- no alcohol inside brother house （fail)

I heard from a Malaysian WL that when the WLs report to AV,they have to greet the officers "Good morning Sir or Madam" or they will be rebuked and it can be quite rough. Personally, I don't see the need to treat the WLs like this. Also, when the AV conduct a spot check on the houses, they will ask all waiting customers to leave (OKTs get very upset because they know customers will not return for that day). I was once with a WL inside the room when a spot check was conducted. The WL, shivering and trembling, got dressed, went to her handbag to retrieved her card, left the room and then returned. I asked why. She replied, "they very fierce. If I take too long to go out, they will shout at me:. Any bro heard of all these?

"No sexy wear" rule is regularly broken inside the house, for sure. In my view, they certainly dress very sexy :D Imagine if they wear 'burka' head-to-toe covering, then choosing the girls will be like what?? And in some countries on this Earth, exposed ankles is sexy, LOL.

As for the girls being prohibited from going out unescorted, what do they do during their off-days? Heard from one that it can be as long as 2-3 days off if they want to rest, or after overnight. They actually reside in the house??

Have ever hinted to one whether she want to earn extra on her off-day, but politely rebuffed, with the girl citing the "rule".

at least 1 okt must be inside the house when AV conduct spot check
the use condom posters must be posted all over the house
wls that walking to other house for appointment must cover up properly

I heard this is only when they go clubbing, etc. Surely they can't have OKT with them every time they step out of the house (exercise, go to Sheng Siong, etc.)?

Personally I never like the AV guys, though so far I did not encounter any problem with them, I find them abusing their power by shouting at the pimp and the girls.

Many years back, my friend while waiting for me at the customer area had a big quarrel with the AV guys, one of the AV guy questioned him on why he was sitting there, he was not happy with my friend's answer when he said that he was waiting for me. The AV guy asked him get out of the house. When my friend refused, he threaten to arrest him. At the end my friend produced his warrant card, the AV guy got shocked on seeing his rank and appointment, immediately called for his IC (a woman).

Though the 4 of them including their OIC (over the phone) was reprimanded for abusing of their power right and did not comply to the protocols and procedures in front of everyone in the house, that was the last time my friend joined us in such outing.

Understanding from him that senior police officer (SP and above) are not allowed in such places unless they are on duty. Not sure how true is it?

Your friend is a police officer? I guess in certain jobs there will be unwritten rules existing out of common sense.

What if the officer is married / attached, or wants to protect his reputation? If seen in brothel, he could be blackmailed in the future.

Yes go clubbing only version I heard too. Apparently there r many versions (unofficial I suppose). What I do heard the stringent rule, is they do need to be accompanied by OKT/assitant/driver whenever going out (some say no need if within geylang area, but if kena av even in geylang area, show them the scanned copy of passport and/or the watever identity document and call the OKT to answer the AV).

I heard two cases, one is a police officer (WL noticed he got a gun with him and asked whether he is a mata and he acknowledged), second case is a senior officer in AV :eek::D

lol funny rite? apparently i heard some house followed in quite strickly (not sure how true coz kena b4 and if kena again maybe gotta close shop)

It very depend on the gal, some can just nua in the house for week, but some just cannot stand the restriction and taign the risk. I believe this is one of the prime reason why most of the WL cannot fulfill the 2 years duty here.
