2009 seems to be a good year to travel making use long weekend due to public holidays ..
other than 1st Jan which falls on thursday ..
4 public holidays fall on friday ..
3 public holidays fall on sunday ..
1 public holiday fall on saturday ..
CNY fall on monday & tuesday ...

2009 .... A Great Year To Fly .... :)

New Year Day - 1st Jan (thursday) ..
take one day leave on friday and u have a 4 days holiday ..

Chinese New Year - 26th & 27th Jan (monday & tuesday) ..
most companies will be closed on 28th jan (wed) ..
take 2 days leave ( thurs and fri) and u can have 9 days holiday starting from 24th jan to 1st feb ..

Good Friday - 10th April (friday)

Labour day - 1st May (friday)

Vesak Day - 9th May (saturday)
Following monday will be a public holiday is company work on 5 days/wk basis

National Day - 9th Aug (sunday)
Following monday will be a public holiday

Hari Raya Puasa - 20th Sept (sunday)
Following monday will be a public holiday

Deepavalli - 15th Nov (sunday)
Following monday will be a public holiday

Hari Raya Haji - 27th Nov (friday)

Christmas Day - 25th Dec (friday)

2010 New Year Day - 1st Jan (friday)

Bro A88, since u have done all those holiday date planning, why not proposed to james a date for him to make his 6th trip to zuhai. Then he can present his FR to entertain u or perhaps all the bros in SBF.

Book the best dates before hand. Even if you cancel, you can use the reason "Rushing Project, cancel holiday to complete important company work..blah blah..." If not, you still get the best dates and no one can say anything about it since you apply eaarly in the year. Keep your boss happy and your colleagues LanLan.

This is like Zhuge Liang long term planning..
