I guess if you are a tourist ( esp those from america who took a long flight)/biz man ( no time to hunt) who stay in bkk for 2-3 nights only, you will need to visit places which is a sure fire bet....

This will include Pegasus, Poisedon, etc. however at such places , the damages is also higher. be prepared to pay like S$500 to tabao a gal ( ON) back from pegasus. excellent quality here.. tall fair skin type.

for people who are based in bkk for long time, i guess the game plan will evolved and be fine tuned according to budget and time.... the places these people visit will definitely differ from those that tourist like to visit. aka soi cowboy...etc

the last grp of people will be those who visit bkk like 4-5 times a year..
they usually avoid the touristy places like CM2, spasso , soi cowboy and may
prefer to try their luck at RCA, thonglor etc... :)

Ya... have to agree that because of the short stay and the culture-shock :D, it can be intimidating at times if one goes alone. It took me a few trips to BKK to finally venture to patts on my own. Even so, still exploring WS, though I do aim for beer bars in this coming trip.

For RB1-4, totally agree that most of the guys are nose-in-the-air types. Probably due to the ninhonjin. :rolleyes:

Called up my friend who has stayed in Bangkok/Suttisan area for more than 15 years, asked him about the joints in Rachada/Huay Kwang for update. He told me that some famous places have closed down: Sparks, Phuture Disco, Mirage MP, New Cleopatra,etc. Business of Poseidon was not as good & fun as before, Copa Cabana is getting worse. But my friend told me Soi 7 at Rachada, new joint Colonze 4 was opened less than 2 years, selection of Puyings not bad.

I miss the food stalls at Talak Huay Kwang, and the working Puyings busy doing their shopping around the area.
Ha ha, really miss a lot. My ex-Thai girlfriend stayed just in this area. Long lost tourch of Land of Smile, I will return soon.

There are literally hundreds of cell phone shops on the 4th floor at the MBK Center. It's pretty cut-throat there; thus, you will find a good deal there. On the 5th floor, there is a good food court for makan.

In Soi Cowboy bars the payment system is very complicated. It works like the new EZ-Link deducting system. You'll need to pay a deposit of THB10K first. Whatever drinks and lady drinks you buy will be credited to you first. As for barfine of THB500-600 that's for yourself only. You'll have to pay an additional THB500-600 barfine for your girl.

After you've received your bill at the end of the night. You've to bring the bill to the nearest Carrefour, Tesco Lotus or 7-11 to get back your remaining balance. Remember to do it within 48 hours otherwise your credits will be forfeited.

There's one bar called Short Gun. Regulars include bro etc88, Playman, adidas88 and yours truly. :)

Looks like the AirAsia surprise promo early this week was a dud as it had no reasonable places with the cheap fares I hope for.


Now just notice Tigers have reasonable fares for Sin to BKK in Nov and Dec.
Depart Sin to BKK =$91 total and return about $71 or(1100b +700fee=1800b) total

I may venture to BKK for 1st time instead of my standard AC/Manila hangouts.

Anyone know of a BKK G-Club with guaranteed tarpau system? Have some entertaining to do over there next month and am looking around for a decent club to bring clients for drinks and some action if they would like it. I know that most G-Clubs leave the decision up to the girls and it takes some work to get them back so if anyone has any info, it would really be appreciated. Cheers!

Honesty I have no idea where is soi holland as I don't frequent BKK. My party friends in SG ask me go RCA or Funky villa / Muse at Thong Lor for the real Thai partying. My thai colleague in BKK bring me to Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy. Other than that no idea where man.

The MRT exit is near the intersection.

Sometime I dunno whether to f u this type of ppl or not. When I google, I can find information of Amsterdam in BKK.

If it is your first trip, read up more in the forum. A lot of times ratchada is being brought up and even the train station where u can get laid easily.

Just plain lazy, it will be good to use your hotel shower room n invite your faithful right or left hand. It saves u money, time n effort.

WL in Nongkhai etc are mostly from laos. To my surprise, the laos girls are generally prettier than the thai girls! Most are fair skin, very young age (17-18) and LT goes from 1000 baht.

Booked a van to go over to vientiane for 1 day tour. Another surprise is their building and lifestyle seems to be more developed than udon thani and nong khai!
