verdict:

Ratchada soi 4 is boring for the most part. It's young thai guys and their pu-yings partying to outdated music. Little tables, lots of people, and high prices for foreigners. It's the standard thai night scene if you're not connected.

I recommend you check it out for yourself though. It's entertaining for the night and if you get blue balls there's many options nearby.

Just a suggestion – as I also organized a Bachelor party a few years ago in Bangkok and the highlight was the night prior to going home at the Plaza Entertainment complex. Went back a couple years ago by myself and I think I remember already paying THB 3,500 for a session.

Also, I think that a few other BKK massage parlours now also offer similar facility as Delia. And since you do want to make a reservation to book an apartment anyway, best if you ask your hotel concierge what others places have such and ask him to make the booking. Also have him outline to you the charges etc.

Note, there will be hourly room charges on top of the girl, food and drink charges. BTW - we dealt with a Cantonese speaking mommy who told us that if we partied for over 4 hours (and pay the room and girl charges), she will arrange for our girl to go with us overnight at our hotel with no additional charges. Hi fellow bros, after lurking in this forum for quite some time, I finally decided to post a FR regarding my BKK trip last march. Went with 4 other male friends for a 5d4n trip.

They were taken to the police station to pay up to 1,000 baht fine and released.

Red light districts are concentrated in Bangkok and Pattaya, attracting both Thai and foreign customers. According to the UNDP report in 2004 and WHO report 2001, there are between 200,000 - 300,000 sex workers including 60,000 child sex workers in Thailand. It is difficult to identify the current number of sex workers in Thailand.

The Transport Ministry on Tuesday reconfirmed its earlier decision to allow taxi fare in Bangkok to be adjusted up by 5 percent effective as of July.

The ministry, however, rejected the proposal of the committee considering taxi fares to increase taxi fare by 5-7 percent.

The ministry also gave a greenlight for an increase of service charge of taxies at Suvarnabhumi and Don Meuang airports from 50 baht at the two airports to 80 baht for taxi vans and 60 baht for sedans.

Transport Minister Prajin Juntong said that the ministry rejected the committee’s proposal to adjust the service charge for taxies operating at the two international airports to 95 baht for vans and 75 baht for sedans as being too high.

In order to ease the burden on the consumers, the minister said that during the first six months of the enforcement of the new service charge, the Airports of Thailand Company would shoulder the service charge increase.
