Hi everyone i would like some advise here, sometime around last year I was contacted by someone here to create a website for them. Some things happened along the way and I got scammed by this guy for about 20k or so.

Fast forward to recently in Jan this year, there was another guy looking for a tech partner lukepabo was his user id. He claims to be able to help me track the previous guy and we actually made some headway, although just recently he has disappeared after taking a sum of money from me to be used for helping to track this guy which leads me back to a dead end.

I do have their bank accounts which i was asked to sent money to. I believe they may be dummy accounts except for the initial one that I sent for. What options do I have going forward from here? Can anyone advise me? thanks in advance.

You can try to report police,
If you contact with them through internet, police may have a way to track down their IP address to can easily to know where there belong to, if oversea than no choice

Looks like you have maybe half a brain since you so easy got scammed for 20K, and by posting your totally irrelevant thread in a sex forum. seems to me you still have half a brain only.

The title of this forum is Adult Discussions about Sex. Does the title of this forum say "Make Police Report here?" Got it?

Were you designing a website for freelancers to solicit business?

Yes that's what I found out at the end recently. Initially I was told that it was for luxury goods buy and sell and I'm only there to create a template which I did. Quite frankly I've already reported to police but they told me they can't do much, they will work with an anti fraud team with banks since banks won't reveal stuff due to privacy matters. Lukepabo did the digging for me which showed me that it was used for escorts to solicit business. Please don't judge me for my earlier template creating work, that was easy stuff and I simply needed money to tide through covid period.

Already reported, they can't do much apparently banks seems to take privacy pretty seriously.

Nothing to do with moral police. Everything to do with english literacy. The title of this forum is very clear. Its for people to chat about sex. This clown got scammed, how is that anything to do with sex? Seems to me that you don't have english literacy either.

This clown TS can't even comprehend that this is a sex forum, and that him getting scammed in a business deal has nothing to do with sex. That is how low IQ he is. I think you "advice" vs "advise" correction is way over his head. LOL

I also take this sex forum quite seriously. Do you mind not polluting it with your stupid scammed stories. No want wants to read how you got scammed out of 20k. Unless it was a pros that did it, then you tell us who it is. Can you read what is the title of this Forum or not?
