Red light is more less dead in geylang..but being close to city centre, sports hub, and many love hotels .perhaps the empty shops and houses can be lit up with neon lights with izakaya, LGBT bars, loe hotels midnight supper heaven...what is needed is let more neon lights up like shinjuku....what is the point of a stressful high price city centre without a shinjuku less pricy but fun place to let out steamm...what u think....and can it happen

Whoever succesfully highlights this proposal to AV/Garmen will be remembered in golden letters in the history of this August playground.

Geylang has been polluted for decades. Mostly old uncles and foreign workers roam the street. It will never happen unless it can attract classy sophisticated office ladies to chill there after work. It is just too sleazy. You are right that it’s a waste it’s so close to city centre. My vision is turn it into Lan Kwai Fong. A playground for young guys and gals.
