Any advice or experiences which you can share with me as I going on a trip to Shenyang with my PRC gf which i know her from Geylang.

My advise for precaution :

1. Registered with the Singapore Embassy in China over the internet before you set your foot in mainland (here is the example of the link:), indicate to them where would you be around and leave the contact with them.

2. If possible, bring along a male friend with you.
3. If better still, if you have a SG friend in her area
4. Maybe you can ask someone in China to check her address before you leave SG.
5. Don't carry too much cash, if you need cash, you can withdraw Rmb currency using your credits card (with PIN of cos). In the event you are extort for money, you then have the excuses that you did not have money with you. FYI, all ATM withdrawal for credit cards is RMB 5K limit per card pere day.
6. Tell her that your freind know where about you
7. Inform all your trusted friends whereabout you and her location, her contact, constantly calling or SMS back.
8. If possible, snap her picture and lets close friends know how she look like.
9. Stay in a safe hotel unless no choice
10. Always carry your phone when go around

Hope these did not scared you too much, be confident if you think you wish and must to go with her, just be careful that all.

There is an inccident 2-3 years back in Shanghai where a sillyporean bring SG$100K bills and sleep with her so called PRC student that he get to know in SG-KTV. When he woke up, she disappeared with his SG$100K bills. It was report in the New Paper then.

During my study times, he knew that we are copying, wif our notes and papers underneath the test paper, he saw it, but he refused to comment abt anything.

When my gang of buddies and l disappeared from his lessons halfway, in fact, he could have marked as absent at the end of his lesson, he didnt. He act as if we were still there and we jus disappeared to the toilet.

indeed I have seen and done alot
but there are many things I humbly submit, I still know not
sure, stories of frauds and woes involving PRCs abound

Perhaps DH is just so very lucky
to find a good partner lady who's a PRC,
she's not a WL but a biz lady, stoic, yet as kind as a good person should be

I think in a lot of cases, we're all correct based on the things we see. But when its time to converge and talk on an issue, most times, the only thing we couldn't agree upon is the context. Or how we use our observation to derive on a conclusion. This is why I asked the earlier question cos really, I have no idea why both of you are arguing about when both are so correct. This is a little different from other arguments I see in the forum, and maybe I am placing judgement far off where I'm supposed to and playing busybody, but seriously, both are experienced in prc and both wants to share and both are genuine.

Build up your health first bro, if you intend to travel. Cos the types of virus is quite different in China compared to Singapore, if you go there fragile and weak, the infection can take weeks to cure.

for her to apply a visa on short term social visit to sg, may cos t up to 7000rmb if she go to a china agent. but if u r willing to do it for her, cost $30. go into ICA website n do a detail read up.

the control of visa during olympics is for outside people to enter china, not for china people to come out....

On my very last trip up, my mate went along wif me, he wanted a holiday and since i have a 4bedroom apt there, he could bunk in so he joined me.

Actually a friend of my just recently broke off with his PRC girl. He lost some money but was actually glad to be rid of her. Number 3 was a pro, like wat i loved about her, sexy, high end type and one sharp brain.........

actually i do not really wanna say too much abt myself. many bros in this forum know me in person. 1 thing i can say is, not all PRCs are bad, not all SG womans are good. no one can guarantee u married sg woman nothing will happen. i had a marriage for 12 years n now going to end soon. since 2005 when things get sour, i started chionging. thats when i meet up with bros fr the forum n i started using a chat software very popular in china. from there i know lot of PRC. majority never been here b4, non-WL. of cos i use it to keep intouch with the WLs i noe here. kc game i too played many. n i do hv 1 gal that i hv intend to bring here stay with me for good. but well, things didnt really work out so i was still on the hunt.
