It makes perfect sense. Large events are infrequent and attended by a small proportion only. Regular dining out affects everyone, everyday. 1000 events a week (I bet it’s not even half this) x 1000 people = 1 million 1 million dining out events a (very conservative) day x 7 days a week = 7 million...
