I have a good article to share about penis:

A penis fracture can occur when there is trauma to the erect penis, resulting in rupture of the lining of the cylinder (corpus cavernosum) in the penis that becomes engorged with blood during an erection. This very painful injury is often accompanied by an audible cracking sound, followed immediately by dark bruising of the penis due to blood escaping the cylinder. In 10 percent to 30 percent of penis fractures, the urethra is damaged and blood may be visible at the urinary opening of the penis.

A fractured penis requires urgent medical attention. Prompt surgical repair of a penis fracture is usually successful. If untreated, the injury may result in deformity of the penis or the inability to have or maintain an erection (erectile dysfunction).

The penis has no bone lah............... so how can fracture occur. More likely, a sprain as it's filled with blood vessels

Agreed with you. If the bone is in the center, where is the passage for urine.

Agree, the penis does not have a bone along it, so cannot possibly get fractured.

The human penis is made up of three columns of tissue: two corpora cavernosa (spongy tube) lie next to each other on the dorsal side and one corpus spongiosum (spongy tube) lies between them on the top. No bones in them. So the good news is that it an never be fractured! :D

Penis cant be fractured, but if have hardon and you bent them, like 180 degress, can have severe damage.

Penis, come straight, curve upwards and cure downwards. :)

Not true. What if it bent the other direction? (Away from the G-spot) :D

There is no bone inside the penis. So how could it be fracture? :p

a penis can be broken due to damage done to the vascular bundle, and the myriad of other tissues/vessels contained within a penis.

when erected, the penis is like a sponge that has absorbed water. now imagine wringing the sponge. the water gets expelled through the pores of the sponge. however, in a penis, there aren't any pores. the "absorption" is done via vessels/bundles. if these vessels/bundles are broken, you can technically break a penis.

the proper usage of the word fracture is when there is a break in rigid body tissue. since the penis is a non-permanent rigid body structure, a break in it is not known as a fracture. in this case, it will be the rupturing of the corpus cavernosum that causes the break in the penis.

May sound stupid, but i really curious to know. :o
Actually, no bones only tissues, but what causes the curve inclination?

They still call it a fracture. :P

Interesting bit in the wiki about Iran..

A penile fracture is an injury caused by the rupture of the tunica albuginea, which envelopes the corpus cavernosum of the penis. It is an uncommon injury, most often caused by a blunt trauma to an erect penis.
