from wat i know only HIv and Syhillis can be accurately detect from blood test. Other STD cannot, cos inside there is many antibody inside human body.
My doctor tell me not to take antibody blood test, when no symptoms accur, because i can be tested positive even if u are not infected.

Blood test, if requested can test hiv, syhillis, herpes type (type 1 is common and not considered std, but type 2 is genital and its std)

smear and urine test can test chym. / NGU, gonorrea .. (hold urine for 4 hrs at least)

warts no test but u can see it if u get it most the time..

all STD can damge your body if left untreated.

most of the tests are only done if you have symptoms for that particular STD.

So there is no such thing like a blanket test to see if you are in the clear?

there are many std but just like any sickness.. they are so many in this world and if u worry each of them, u better just jump off and die as theres just too many to get u worried.

the common std which need attention from u are infections that are widely discussed here and other std specialist website.. and all these STD can be tested upon ur request in clinics.. or dsc as many already mentioned here.

I did a full screening before calling it quit. So blood test and smear and its all clear... stuff that cannot test like warts need to be seen and if u dont see it for years after ur last possible exposure, then u are pretty safe.

but stuff like warts in std website if u read will scared u .. which what happened to me. However, if u read more of general warts info u will see that almost everyone has it, just that its not in he genital area but in places like ur neck, armpit, back etc.etc.

we hv to be careful, but at the same time we also shld not be over worried which probably will give u some depression, which at the end might be the thing that kills u

go and ask for a "full std health screening" and asked for smear (which is not routine unless u ask). If all clear, then u are fine.

for other STd, i read up a bit and most are not a real concern as ur body can fight it off naturally, and if it does not... then u will see symptoms which simple medication will resolve it.
